I hope it will improve the guitarist performances.

Maybe it means quicker patch changes? It's a bit odd not to detail what the improved performance is.

I believe 'improved: overall performance" is another way to say "We've further optimized the code, but y'all can't see it."

Startup time is within 10 seconds of a QC (Toaster/Rack). The Stage is quite a bit quicker.

I think I'll wait until it's not beta, in this case.

I just timed my rack. 1 minute 1 second.

My stage actually froze once today while using rig manager with this new beta. But it was when I tried to switch rigs with my mouse back and forth real quick a number of times in a row while I was trying to A/B compare a couple rigs. Restated just fine though. I had been playing it and around with rig manager for several hours.

Startup time is also affected by how many profiles/performances/presets you have loaded.

Maybe they are cooking something in order to "activate" and release for namm

I agree that it sounds like a generic code optimization, maybe to release capacity and so lets hope it is to enable something else.

Wild speculation and hope is a lovely thing!
