The MK1 hardware will support 2.0 Profiles - with a lower quality "playback".
I don't believe that.
1.0 and 2.0 only make the feel different not the sound. It already feels great so who cares?
I decided to buy from line 6 because it makes Kemper look like an outdated toy. I honestly believe you guys dropped the ball on the MK2. I'm very disappointed.

I don't know any music retailer that has a return policy of several months. Usually 14-30 days at the most and it gets even trickier when it's electronics.
That's true where I live as well. Sorry nwmusic32 Hopefully the wait will be worth it. I still love my Kemper and the only way I'll get rid of it is if my next pedalboard blows it away in every aspect. If not this thing is still a fantastic tool.
I don’t think this is just about complaining over deadlines. Some people bought the MKII Kemper expecting to use MKII profiling within a few weeks, but now it’s been months and there’s still no sign of it on the horizon.
If you are not happy with your gamble then why not just send it back. Instead of waiting for 2.0 profiling that may never happen.
I waited and waited but nothing so I went elsewhere for my next Pedalboard. I made the same mistake and bought an amateur radio that even a year later I'm waiting for an update so it can be used properly. Never again will I buy anything on promises of an upgrade. Sounds like la money grab to me.
I love my Kemper but I'm not buying the Kemper 2. I decided to keep the Kemper and buy the Helix Stadium.
I just don't see the need to sell anything. Just another tool for your studio. That's all folks.
Having said that, I spent a few hours with the Helix Stadium today. Previously, I had owned, and traded, an HX stomp XL (hated it). This is a different beast entirely.
Yeah I tried it too. Just got the the approval to buy it but I'm not sure if I want to get the Stadium floor or the XL floor. The Kemper stays in the patch bay just in case I need it.
Anyone else notice a quicker shut-down time on their unit?
Can't be any quicker for me. I shut it down by turning off the power bar takes exactly 0 seconds fastest shut down possible.

What's the reason? I have been shutting down with the power bar for over 4 years and never had a problem.

For me I follow Sailor's advice and use S/PDIF. I have been using that setup for over 3 years and its been flawless.
Morgan ac20 rmpacheco. Thats the most popular one and is the one I use.
What I don't understand is why they wrote that it would be the best profiling if it wasn't ready yet?
Seems to be the new way of doing business. I stopped buying anything until its proven to do what it says it does. Either prove what you advertise or no money from me until you do. Unfortunately many of us don't do that and companies seem to get away with it. Kemper is not as bad as many others and their updates are usually very good.
Why don't you try and profile a patch cord and see if there is something wrong with your unit. It should come out perfectly clean.
Well I like real amps and yes to be honest most profiles fall short.
I agree to disagree with your comment. There are many amazing sounds for every musician on the unit itself and many many more for download.
I downloaded all 3 profiles from you and checked out the Facebook video. The profiles are good but not my style. That doesn't mean others wont love them. The sound on Facebook video is the same to me. Not my style.
When I replace the speakers with ex. Senzo v30 mix cabinet imprint all of a sudden it becomes my style. A much nicer full body sound to my ears. So its tweakable.

Yes its awesome just plug it into your power bar. Turn the power bar on and Kemper boots up ready to rock. I've been running it like this for a few years now and works perfect every time.

I always power on/off using the button, will anything “break” or get corrupted inside if I just plug/unplug the power cable?
I have been powering my Kemper stage off and on for at least 3 years with my power bar. Never had a problem.
Yes, shutting down by holding the power button and waiting for the shutdown bar to finish until it turns itself off.
No USB plugged in.
I use a power bar to shut down my Kemper and most of my studio gear except my computer. I have been doing it for years never had a problem. I never touch the power button on the unit itself it 25 seconds boot up time from the time I turn the power bar on.
I'm getting slower boot times after upgrading my Stage to OS 13.0.1.
My advice is if you have a mk1 don't upgrade. None of the upgrades will be designed for the mk1 and it will put a bigger load on this dinosaur system. My old stage took 25 seconds to boot. I haven't updated.
