Yeah, when I read the manual that’s the way I see it too. But I suspect that e.g. DI profiles from Amalgam etc are profiles of pre- and poweramp, without cab. At least that’s how I have treated them (by adding my own irs)
I understand the same and do the same with Bert meulendijk profiles
I understood that di profiles have pre and power amp as they are taken before the cab.

I’m still dreaming of a range parameter on transpose like boss oc3 to improve my setup. 
Is it possible to use it on slot B, after A slot with guitar directly plugged through effect loop?
I have a stage. I have a guitar with to output for two different magnetic mic.
I would like to use parallel path with
- A slot: Effect Loop set to 100% as a second input.
- B slot: Transpose -12 to have a lower octave.
Whatever mic used, transpose works fine if main input is used, but don't work with effect loop input. The transposed notes are not always one octave below while it's fine with main input.
I would like to remove my boss OC-3 and use a guitar with an extra two poles pickup to transpose only E and A strings.
Any reasons why transpose don't work on loop input?

Yes, it‘s sound like Nirvana and a little bit like the Lr baggs m80 on my acoustic guitar.
I tried to play with eq but I m still not satisfied with satured sound.
The best argument for the features is : it replaces the bass player in my band. 😁

The boss oc3 do the job. I use it for many years and it is almost always on. I use it with electric, acoustic steel or nylon.
I guess it is just an octaver on a frequency range.
Yes, octaver, eq and parallel path are in the box. Only very few is missing.

I have a Godin multic HG steel guitar. It's a kind of semihollow guitar. It has both piezo and magnetic pickups that can be send to separate outputs. The acoustic sound is wonderful.
However, I'm not satisfied of the sound of the magnetic pickup (a lipstick). I use only it through his dedicated output and no matter amps and cabinets I can't find any sound. I thing is because of the amount of body sound?
Any advice of amps to use? Or eq settings to reduice the body sound and get closer of a solidbody sound?

I have the boss oc3 in a loop. I never succeeded to achieve with Kemper effects. I hope they will develop it one day 🤞🏻
I had the issue with my tele. I also became crazy. I tried many things : new pick guard, copper tape… and the air dryer sheet solved the problem.
I also use the boss oc-3. The poly octave is the only missing feature for me.

Perso, à la maison je préfère le casque que j’ai pris l’habitude d’utiliser depuis plusieurs années (l’âge de mes enfants 
J’ai deux enceinte de monitoring bon marché mais je n’ai pas de bonnes sensations avec. Je les utilise peu.
Pour les répètes et la scène, j’ai une Yamaha dxr10 et 12 que j’utilise en retour ou sur pieds selon les besoins. Ça va très bien mais je le déconseille pour la maison. Ça va trop fort et il y a le bruit du ventilateur.
Mais c’est vraiment une question de goût et à voir si c’est pur un usage unique mais à la maison ou sur scène.
Boss oc3 is the only pedal in the loop of my stage. I dream everyday to have this effect on kemper.
