Sure ...or you could just go out and spend $1800 on pedals.
Can we all agree on a list of 5 classic OD we would wish

You could buy a third profiler and Profile the combination of the two. And afterwards sell the two.

Loooooooool here we go a sub thread with 5 od dist or fuzz that youd spend $1800 bux on.

I've heard of profiling prolfilers but they say that it slowly degrades the quality of a profile the more you do it and the more you refine it i think.

As already wished in another feature request thread, I would appreciate the Darkglass B7K and Boss ODB3 as OD-Stomp for BASS-Guitar

I just bought a Fulltone OCD Version 1.3 Rico signed and it's pretty sweet! I prefer it the most of all the ones I've tried/owned! Great OD!
The XTS Winford drive is pretty cool too tho'

These are just amp profiles that may or may not have the actual pedal in front of them. This isn't the same as having a "pedal profile". Although, rumor starts here, 2019 NAMM announcement to be the ability to profile OD pedals and save them as a pedal instead of a profile. Totally guessing, but man, that would really open up the doors and even the playing field a bit between Kemper and Line6's most recent offerings.

I was going to wait until Post 200, but, I think it is time to answer the OP’s question:
No - No, we can’t.

I think we can all agree, that any of the 5 we will agree on is if KemperFam figures out a way to do like, "mini" or"micro" pedal profiles and allow us to save them in the dist section replacing the current lineup.
Like a preamp only kinda profile but half or less of the processing and storage as regular profiles because you wouldn't need to profile the whole chain?
Or let's say they come up with some new od/dist's algorithms but you had to swap out via rigmanager the current ones for new ones but could go back to old ones if you wanted to, I'd be cool with something like that. Now that I think about it, all the effects being able to swap out for new ones would really rad!

When I was a kid I made my own OD. I used an LED to drive a phototransistor circuit in order to uncouple the input stage and get gynormous gain.
The input circuit was from Elektor mag, but the coupling was my own. Just a pedal switch in a grey cast alloy box and a single knob for gain... I can remember feeling frustrated as a 15 year old not getting the same sounds as they did on TOP of the POPs for the theme tune (Whole Lotta Love) - at the time I did not know about recording and miked amps...
It´s a real shame I don't have the OD now - sold it to (another) teenager whilst I got my first Strat...
Cheers!
Jim.

I called it quite a while back....

Why not a completely generic OD with the option to craft your own, choose op amp, silocon chip, transitors, eq, clipping characteristics ect. You get the idea.
Sorry if this has already suggested, have ignored this thread and not interested in sifting through it.

That won't happen simply becuase kemper is not fractal. I guess if someone like things like that, they choose an axe fx for that reason. I'm not saying your idea is bad.

It has been suggested a few times in the thread. I agree it makes a lot of sense and would be my prefered option. There sre realy very few different OD pedal designs. Most are just variations of the same thing. How many Ods on the current list are actually Tube Screamer types pedals? They all have their own flavour of screamer but they still share a common family resemblance. The ability to take a generic model and sculpt any sound you want from it makes more sense than trying to incorporate every OD ever designed.
