You're mixing 2 mono signals, L and R are identical, no need for a Y cable
Oh ok, so I effectively blend the signals with the gain knobs on ESI Neva and just take a Ts to Ts cable to the Kemper out of either the left or right anolog output?

ESI Neva Duo.
Nice and inexpensive, seems to do what I want.
My concern is that I would have to use a Y cable to pug into the Kemper and this may introduce phase cancellation with no way to combat it.
Easy to do in a studio with a 2 input interface with 48V.
Easy to do live with a 2 channel mixer with 48V.
Hard to do with a Kemper unless you get the Radial PZ Pro-- but an expensive solution.
Yep this definitely knocks it out of the park, nice looking tool, not cheap but I can see other possibilities that it could be used for as well, yeah food for thought.
Perhaps the Fishman Rare Earth Mic Blend Pickup?
Yes this and the Seymour Duncan mag mic have definitely been considered, within my budget and straight forward.
What I don’t like is the mic inside the guitar, just not an optional place for it to be and I already have a sound hole mag pickup and decent condenser mic to utilise, but still maybe.
Hey guys thought I would consult some fellow Kemper users.
The aim is to take a acoustic guitar with a magnetic sound hole pickup and a condenser mic that will need phantom power.
Feed the dual source to some mixer/preamp?
The mixer/preamp needs to blend and sum the two sources to an anolog out to plug straight into the Kemper head for processing.
I thought the solution would be easily found but I am struggling,
I might have to to add a in line phantom power provider but would like to keep it as streamlined as possible.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated thanks.
Has a certain cabinet been locked?, cabs are way more influential on sound then amps.
Just having a shot, is the Kemper Kone disabled in the output menu?
Can you explain what the “the voicing” is, this is not a term I’m familiar with, do you mean speaker imprints maybe?
Or I suppose you mean the IR’s on the power cab thinking about it.
Hi Robert, I’ve been a Kemperphile for 14 years.
Updating and even using Rig Manager has been limited to a couple of years when it was first released and have usually used the USB for updates, back ups and rig uploads.
In my experience when ever I’ve had troubles it’s always usb stick, maybe 4 times over the years.
Get a new one and if that doesn’t work I recommend opening a ticket with the excellent Kemper support.
And you also didn't know if you wanted to play air guitar to this one.
Definitely one I crank the car radio up for, classic IMO.
I believe you can’t connect via usb.
Rig manager mobile requires a WiFI connection.
As the head has no built in WIfi like the stage and player u need to add a network system via USB.
This is covered in the manual.
You can play whatever you want, it’s a wonderful tool for all instruments and even vocals.
Yes I had screen problems, not exactly like you have it was a weird thing, looked like a bug had exploded
Having said that I’ve had the unit since release, so it’s 14 years old, how old is yours?
The only fix is to have the whole front replaced and unfortunately it is not cheap.

Kids let this be a warning, don’t do DRUGS!
Oh no, where not opening this can of worms again. 😂😂
As I understand it the profiling part is working but the rumours and hints given suggest it is being delayed by making sure Rig Manager - apparently a key part of the process - is still being sorted.
I for one would prefer the software being released when ready rather than suffer the endless drip of updates that Fractal users endure.
To that point I just wish Kemper would do what they used to do. Wait until its ready to go and drop it on us like when the player, Kab new reverbs and delays ect.
I guess they are feeling the pressure of their competitors to feeling they have to get in first.

Amazing playing and a great interview. Bumblefoot plays a few full tunes with backing tracks AND takes you through the actual sounds used in each section before playing.
Wow, I’ve stumbled upon the name a few times but never investigated.
What a super talent, watching him play brought back feelings of hearing Shawn lane or Allan Holdsworth for the first time.
Yep one of the true visionaries, followed his YouTube videos on making his archtops, truly amazing what he did.
