I was just mulling over the same question. I would like to know as well.
-
Just drag & drop the Effect Symbol of the slot to a folder under "All Presets".
-
The work flow on the editor sometimes feels just a little bizarre. Most things you would expect to be able to use a right click for just don’t exist.
How about being able to save, load, copy and past an effect with right click? Why insist on all this dragging Into and from folders?
Most housekeeping tasks in the editor are much quicker on the actual unit.

Where is the Effect Symbol of the slot?[Blocked Image: https://www.kemper-amps.com/wbb_suite_3/index.php?attachment/12356-screen-jpg/]

this can be done using drag and drop. select a "Preset" directory on the left side in the tree view. Drag the effect onto one of the effect slots within the editor to load. drag one of the effects slots into a preset directory to save the effect. that's exactly the same procedure you use when you drag and drop a Rig onto one of the five performance slots.
there is no need to use a context menu for this at all.

It’s still far from an elegant solution. I would just use the controls on the unit. Far quicker and intuitive and most importantly, you don’t lose focus on the rigs you are working between.

nothing hold you back
Well, it’s absolutely not held me back. I just don’t really bother with the editor and use the front panel and it’s all really quick anyway. ?

Okay and when i do drag and drop into the presets folder....how can i find the tweaked preset then after...it's not marked or something..you only have 5 times "legacy delay" and have to compare each setting then...????
I'm getting realy angry about the rig manager.
The Software didn't came out yesterday and it's still not save and conveniant to work with.
Kemper Guys: that's not professional at all !!!
Get yourself some good Software-Engineers real quick or it will fall back on your reputation sooner or later.
Im just saying.

Drag and Drop to create a new Preset.
Edit the Name of the Preset you just created.
Look at the date/time column to see the newest one. If you don’t have “Show All Columns” enabled in that folder, right click on the column headers, and select that option.

The thing with that drag in the video above is that you have to leave the focus of the rig you where in and enter a different folder. I really don’t understand why you can’t just right click for any of this.
It is what it is though and most people seem fine with it. -
you have to leave the focus of the rig you where in and enter a different folder
Right Click on the Presets folder, and select "Open in a new window".
Drag and Drop to the new window, You will still have the Rig in focus in the original window.

Honestly, I am fine just working on the front panel. I just find it much quicker and logical that way.
At the end of the day, it’s just an editor. It’s not life or death. Most seem completely happy with it and the Kemper team seem keen to keep it the way it is. So, no problem. ?
-
Just to add, it wasn’t just the saving of presets that led me to just use the Kemper itself. It was more things like copy and paste that are just immediate on the unit itself. They were the one thing I would have expected as a right click option.

Can you store the entire effects block as a preset?

Can you store the entire effects block as a preset?
No, but, you can add and name a Presets Folder, and put the set of FX in it.
-
Can you store the entire effects block as a preset?
unfortunately not which is a major drawback of the editor. You still need to do that on the front panel of the Head or Rack.
