As I am the proud owner of Gerald's Mark IIC+ , I promise I'll do some extensive profiling of that beast when 2.0 profiling comes around, as well as NAM models at the same time.
ohhh that would be cool!!!thank you
Let us know, I Know Gerald, if you can't put your hands on this , I'll ask him.
look like he is not in the forum since last year, wondering what unit is he using now
Thanks everyone for looking into this. Being a huge Kemper fan and believer, It bothers me when Kemper doesn't get the recognition it deserves. It's seems since it's an "old" product it's not "cool" to say you play one now even though nobody has a problem talking about their "old" Marshalls.
Kemper still sound awesome,i dont care about null tests or if Kemper is old i enjoy playing my Kemper
If I had $$$$, I would own Kemper, Fractal, this and that and the other stuff. I am more impressed with what you own with only $.
im not a rich person,but i own kemper.fractal 3,QC and Tonex
he is using Kemper,i asked him in facebook
It's a Kemper Stage Mk2. I think (?) what he's saying is he will soon be switching to using a tube amp for FOH and a Fractal for IEM. But it's possible he still prefers Kemper for demonstrations like this interview.
he is been using real amps and fractal for years
and "reactive load optimized." what does reactive load optimized mean?
Irs to use with a Reactive Load device
thank you for the share!!!
I pulled everything after someone gave my ‘free’ xmas gift profile a rating of 1. it was a poke in the eye that stuck with me and frankly hurt.
I might upload stuff in the future, I might not. We’ll see.
dont worry about that man,we all know you make awesome Kemper profiles, remember out there hiding behing a computer are too many arseholes, please make more profiles, thank you
Just had a look at the Apollo Twin manual. It looks like you can use regular XLR - XLR cables or XLR - TRS as the interface lets you select mic or line level manually.
yes i can select mic or line on the apollo twinbut to be honest i prefer to use spdif
Ideally you would use XLR>TRS cable if the interface doesn’t have the ability to select line level input for the XLR input
im using XLR-TRS Cables to connect Kemper to my Apollo Twin.
1) XLR input usually can involve Mic pre amp. line level is better
what do you mean with this?is better to use TRS cables instead of XLR cables?
if my audio interface has SPDIF i will use that but if not i use XLR cables both sound good
for you it seems to cause problems... for thousands of others it works fine
Did you consider that it _maybe_ isn't the Kemper, but _maybe_ your specific setup? (Windows version, USB driver version, USB interface hardware, USB hub, virus protection, CPU load, still a bad/too long cable despite being 'new' etc. etc. etc. )
.... just a thought
almost 4 years using the Kemper Stage and zero issues with the USB cable,im on Mac
i own the QC and i really like it,no plans to sell the Kemper.
. One of my favourite profiles is a Tone Junkie profile of a 1973 Marshall Super Lead,
you sure is from the tone junkie profiles?in which Tone Junkie come that profile?, i got the everything pack but i cant find that amp
I haven't bought the pack yet, but the sounds sound very promising. Instead, I created my own rig based on a Bogner Helios. I'm very happy with that too. If you're interested, I've uploaded a few sound samples in the "Link Your Music" section (Steve Lukather Sound 1990).
for the Sound 1990 Lukather was using the Soldano
