Has anyone tried to copy the firmware directly from a mk2 to put on mk1, with an specific hardware?
You cannot copy the firware from one device to another. There are differences in the firmware for each model. It wouldn't work. Just search this forum and you'll find a lot of discussion about that exact topic.

The frequencies were changed based on a feature request.
There are EQ options with variable frequencies if you prefer to adjust @2.5k

It is connected, as I said it responds to IP ping. Yes, I enabled the network midi. Another thing is that it does not store the setting that network midi has been enabled. After restart I have enable it again. It may be intentional though as it is experimental.
That's intentional and will stay for now.
I'll move this thread now to other gear. It's really about discussion alternatives now (and there are plenty).
The advice I got was useless anyway. I asked which stable o.s. and r.m. to use and their suggestion was well don't do that
