The PROFILER Stage is no mere accessory — it is a complete PROFILER. It offers the same features and the legendary sound as the well-known Profiler Head and Rack, and even a bit more.

What could "and even a bit more" mean?

"Two stereo effect loops with stereo returns for each allow for connecting both pedals and outboard studio effects."

Ah yes, that makes sense

I love this chart, could be applied to most marriages.

Less expensive than I thought it would be. Having just purchased a Toaster/Remote just over 3 months ago, I'm not uptight about the pricing. For me, I *really* don't want to have to bend over to tweak. Nor do I want to use a software editor as a primary method of management. But that's just me. I have a feeling this is going to fly off the shelves. Shockingly close to Helix pricing.
The appearance of this model of Profiler also seems to put more than a few nails in the coffin of a "Kemper 2.0" coming any time soon.
...and it's only Monday. -
Pure genius Nicky!
I have little interest in Stage considering its functionality is the same as i have with the Powered Rack and Remote BUT I'm still excited...
Its like learning someone else is having children...I already have them but I'm excited for them!!
I can't see how this would ever be a powered version though....running a speaker cable across the stage to a cab? So does that mean the a powered Kabinet will appear quickly ? Oh the speculation!!

same for me. Let’s hope that this will generate loads of cash for Kemper.

£1450 that’s not a bad price

I really like the new arrangement of the buttons
- all buttons related to signal flow in a single row on the right side (including input and output buttons)
- system related buttons grouped together on the left side
- browsing buttons and rig settings buttons grouped together in the middle
That makes a lot of sense for me

Hm, the left to right logic from input to output was always there and the Kemper was very intuitive all the time. I'm not a big fan of the position of the softbuttons directly under the Tuner and Looper Knob.

Does the the Profiler Stage support backups from a Rack Profiler?

Look at a picture of the side, the shape makes it very hard to accidently press one of these softbuttons.

I took a closer look at the controls, compared to the Head the Stage has actually a lot of changes:
- noise gate rotary control gone
- Stomps, Stack and Effects buttons gone
- Mod, Delay and Reverb rotary controls gone
- Tap button replaced by footswitch
- Undo and Redo buttons gone
- rotary control for Power/Tuner/Browser/Perform/Profiler replaced by buttons or a footswitch (tuner)
- Quick-Button gone
- new Pedals button
- On/Off, Copy and Paste buttons gone
- new Edit button
- new Morph button
- rig browsing buttons (four buttons on the right) gone
- Volume rotary control gone, instead Master Volume control moved to the spot where Volume was before (wondering if Master Volume is now the Volume of the rig)
For me personally that means they removed exactly the buttons that i never use and the overall layout is way cleaner

Does the the Profiler Stage support backups from a Rack Profiler?
Yes. Any backup created on any PROFILER model is compatible to any other PROFILER model as long as they run the same version of the OS.

Im really impressed...i expected to be the pricing at around 2000 or more to not compete to much with Kemper + Remote.
Get a Camplifier Brick Version with it and you are fine...but i guess Kemper will release his own poweramp brick at some point too!

Although I have zero desire/need for a floor unit (so my money will be staying firmly in my pocket), and only marginal interest in a software editor, I am delighted for those that do want/need these.
Indeed this seems like a very "traditional" floorboard concept and maybe some of us(me for sure) expected something more innovative.
Anyway..I am happy that a lot of customers from the "digital modeller pool" will get this and not something from the competition.Good for Kemper.
I will stay with the toaster/remote for live gigs, jams and rehearsals...No way I would put a 1600€ tool on the floor of a shabby night club.
