pedal assignments are always global. The pedal chapter in the reference manual describes how you can use a single pedal for several tasks depending on the currently loaded rig.

You do not need to change any assignments live. If you activated the correct pedal links the rig will determine the function of the pedal.

you can already import performances. Simply drag and drop an existing performance to the desired bank in the Player.

have you already checked the volume pedal settings in the rig menu? They can be different in browse and perform mode since the volume pedal lock function works individually for both modes.

Der Instrumentmodus am Interface ist dafür da wenn man die Gitarre direkt mit dem Interface verbinden möchte. Für den Profiler muss du einen Line Eingang verwenden.

select "off" as the output source setting for the direct output in the output menu to avoid the bump in volume after activating the effect loop.

check the output source settings in the output menu and make sure to select master stereo as the output source.

I still think Banks could be implemented easily. Most every keyboard I use has at least 4 banks of 127. The Virus certainly did, so I would think the know-how to get this done would be common knowledge at Kemper. They'd need to implement it in the Browse Mode PrgChg window (plenty of room).

the limit of 128 program change values is part of the MIDI specification and cannot be changed. To overcome this there are MIDI bank select commands. The Profiler supports MIDI bank select command since the introduction of performance mode more than 10 years ago. This allows you to use 128 program changes in every bank.

the master volume knob will control the levels of all outputs that are linked to it in the output menu.

If the linking was done while the levels of these outputs were set to different values the master volume knob will preserve the ratios between these different values. As soon as the output with the highest level has reached the top value the other output levels cannot be raised anymore.

To fix this you can either set all levels to the same value in the output menu and link the outputs again or change the desired output level while you are in the output menu using the corresponding soft knob underneath the display.

You can find a more detailed explanation in the reference manual in the output chapter.

under normal circumstances your computer should ask you if you want to use any newly connected device as the audio interface. If you respond with "no" your previous interface will still be used.

you can connect the output of the looper to the alternative and return input of the Profiler and use the Aux in function in the output menu to send that signal together with the Profiler signal over the main outputs to the FOH mixer.

the issue of the OP was caused by his faulty patchbay. If you experience change in volume in regard to the FX loop please disconnect the external effects unit and connect the send and return with a straight cable and check if there is a difference in volume when you activate or deactivate the FX loop.

there must be something wrong with your backups. Please open a ticket on the Kemper website and send us a copy of such a backup.

schalte einfach in einem Rig den Amp ab. Ein Kabelprofil wird bei deiner Anwendung nicht funktionieren weil dann der Sound des PCL ungefiltert ohne Cabsim zu hören sein würde.

make sure to not activate the "monitor cab off" option in the kone menu to use the Kabinet in FRFR mode to achieve this.

when Kone mode is off the Kemper Kabinet works in broadrange mode which is quite different from full range. Activating the Kone mode is mandatory when you want to use a Kemper Kabinet for monitoring.

the fx loop in the Profiler is an fx type that can be assigned to any of the 8 effect slots regardless if it is a Rack, Head, or Stage Profiler.
