for a latency free application you could connect the Profiler to your Macbook with a USB cable and select the Profiler as the output device in the systm/sound settings of your computer. Connect the headphones to the Profiler and control the level of the computer audio signal with the DAW parameter on the USB Audio page in the output menu of the Profiler.

a factory reset will replace the entire content in the Profiler with the factory content including factory rigs, presets and performances.
If you want to keep the existing rigs you can either transfer them to the local library in Rig Manager or create a backup the Profiler content on a USB stick.
You will find the factory reset function on the first page of the System menu.

I've just send an email to support@kemper-amps.com with the details as someone suggested me instead of using the online form. So far I did not received any ticket number yet (about 45 minutes later). I use the same email address that of my account at Kemper. By the way, I did not receive any ticket number either the two times I've used the online form ...
were you logged into your customer account when sending the contact form? The Zen desk system will automatically send a response email when a ticket has been opened.

Done that!
It's the second time I do that in the support section (had an issue with the player), never got any answer the first time ... I doubt I will this time too. 🙃since I cannot find any emails from the email address that you used for your Kemper customer account in our ticket system please let me know the ticket number you must have received and I will look into it.

Player and Stage can handle 2 stereo streams while the rack and head models only support a single stereostream.
You can do reamping with any model if you put the DI track in solo mode.
The USB audio connection supports 44,1 khz exclusively.

cc#1 controls the wah effect. To switch an effect on or off over MID you need to send the appropriate control change command for the slot that the effect is placed in. You can find a complete list of these CC messages in the MIDI chapter of the reference manual on page 388.

you can achieve this by utilising the FX loop in the Profiler. Place it at the very end of the signal chain (aka the reverb module) in your acoustic rigs and set the mix so that the signal is not present at the main or monitor outputs but only at the send output. Of course the signal will be mono since the send of the fx loop is mono.

it is mandatory in a SPDIF setup that one device is the clock master and the other one the clock slave to avoid any dropouts. No update will ever change that.
-
yes mine is 2012, I never made interface a slave (Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 1st gen) it was just working before upgrading to OS beta 12, I think when I switch ot 44 kHz there is no signal in DAW then
if your Profiler is from 2012 it must be the clock master in an SPDIF scenario and you need to set your interface to be the clock slave to the clock that the Profiler sends.
If you do not sync your interface to the Profiler clock the resulting recording will include dropouts.

that is normal behaviour. The headphone output does not mute other outputs.
If you do not want any signal coming out of the speaker output you can switch off the power amp on the corresponding page in the output menu.

I noticed that the manual only refers to 3&4 as reamping however the Head and Rack only have 2 channels. I couldn’t get reamping working on my head a few nights back. It was probably just something stupid that I forgot to do but could you please confirm that 1&2 should still work for reamping on the Head and Rack. Thanks
you can reamp over USB with the Head and Rack as well but since they do not support USB outputs 3 and 4 you need to put the DI track into solo mode while reamping.

Yes, I see how that would work, but...
I would have to burn one of the four pre stack effects for that, and wouldn't I also have to save that effect in every rig/performance anyway?
locking globalizes the state of an effect. If you store a rig while something is locked you will "burn" the locked state into the rig. The transpose in the rig section is a rig parameter and cannot be globalized.

the bug has been verified and the report has been forwarded to the developers.
It only affects the Stage model.

.bin is the format of the Kemper operating system.
rigs have the ending .krig and can be imported into the Player with the current version of Rig Manager.
