What does the message in the second video say? It is too blurry to decipher in the video.

to install the OS from a USB stick you need to make sure that the kaos.bin file is in the root directory and you need to press and hold both PAGE buttons when you start the OProfiler with the stick already inserted.

only user created effect preset appear in that location. The factory effect presets only appear when you right click on a module.
-
the factory presets show up when you right click on an effect module in a rig.
-
Sorry to hear that. This is very unusual indeed. Please use the factory reset option on the first page of the System menu to restore the factory default settings which include all of the factory rigs, presets and performances.

Hello!
I noticed two problems in the 14.02 system:
1. When wah and volume are turned on on one exp pedal, when turning on wah on the switch, the volume is amplified to the max. I haven't been able to find a solution to that problem in the Kemper and Rig Manager menu;
2. If I turn on an effect on one rig, when switching to another rig and returning to the previous one, that effect remains on, even though it is not locked. I could not find a solution for that either in the Kemper and Rig Manager menu.
these are not issues that are related to the installed version. If you do not want the volume to be at the max when activating the wah you need to activate it with a different switch than the toe switch of your pedal. There is no workaround for this.
The other behaviour you are describing is by design and has been like that since many years. As long as the Profiler is connected to Rig Manager it is in edit mode and any unstored changes will be preserved when you switch between slots in a performance. This saves you from having to store a performance everytime you want to compare the slots in a performance without loosing your edits.

If you want to to use the imprints with other modellers You can send the signal to aux input of Kemper. Man pages 118 and 144.
the Aux in signal will always use the Kone in FRFR mode.
-
as stated in our repair agreement form you will receive a free cost estimate once your Profiler has been inspected in our service center.

the front input will always be used even when SPDIF reamping is selected. But when no SPDIF clock is present at the SPDIF input it is to be expected that there will be digital artefacts because the Profiler cannot sync to a non existing clock. The solution is to select the front input as the input source while the Profiler is being used without a connection to an audio interface that supplies SPDIF clock.

since you did not mention the screen solution of your computer display in your support ticket it sounded as if you are experiencing an issue that only affects computers with limited screensize which is a known issue with the current beta version. If you experience the issue with a screen that has a resolution of 1920x1080 you might be suffering from a different issue. Have you already checked the things that G-string mentioned in his response?

if you want a distortion pedal in front of of the amp to increase the volume you need to turn down the clean compensation value in the amp settings accordingly.

Thanks everyone, I was able to revert back to OS 13.05 using the menu option in Rig Manager 4.0.53 this morning. What's weird is that this option was not originally available.
that seems odd because the revert to release OS option has been a standard since many years in Rig Manager. It requires that a Profiler is connected that is running a beta version.

I do not see updated "KEMPER PROFILER MIDI Parameter Documentation 13.0" in Downloads. I don't see neither the old one there. Am I blind or is it in process?
you have to look for version 14

I´ve read the manual trying to learn how to make a profile with the player, but there was zero information there.
you will find the info in the updated version of the Player manual that you can download from the website

if your Profiler is running a version that is older than 7.3.2 please contact support to receive the required update file.

Thank you. So in theory, I could have 0 rigs on the Profiler, have them all in Rig Manager, and just build out performances...? Cool.
that is correct.
