Hi I have a powered kemper that I know how to plug in and use at band practice using the stock profiles..that's about all I know how to do. I'm really gifted at being a full tard when it comes to electronics and technology. I am wanting to go buy some profiles but honestly have no idea how. I found a site to buy but there payment was not in American dollars. I also have no idea how I will get the profile where it will end up and how then I will get said profile on to my kemper. Don't even know which cord to use if a cord is needed...if someone could plz explain this to me in detail that maybe my young daughter could understand ( I always end up having to ask her to help me with computer stuff) i would be soooooooo greatful...sry if I posted this in the wrong forum thingy
need some help plz

Welcome nunpuncher.
First i recommend that you study the manuals. Then go to youtube and check out the kemper channel. There are so many good hints! Next, dont buy commercial profiles before you have tested the factory profiles, than have a look at the rig manager. Load up the software, connect your kpa to your computer as written in the manual. In rig manager you have thousands of profiles, there are really good ones to go for sveral test. Double click on the profile will load it into your kpa and when you are happy with it you can directly rename it as you like and store it on your kpa.
To describe all the possibilities will fill a big book. Best way to start is to read the manual and have a look on the videos from kemper.
There is also a very cool start up manual by a member of this community called Gianfranco.
Here is the link
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/to9fahanfo3…sPVjT5WUfa?dl=0It takes some time to explore the kpa, so be patient if you dont get the result that you expected afer a short time.
It takes me half a year to have the bang effect and many tries with different monitirs, frfr systems and a real cab.Cheers

Hi @nunpuncher welcome to the community.
Please download Rig Manager on your computer (MAC or Windows) from https://www.kemper-amps.com/downloads/12/Rig-Manager
If you haven't created account on Kemper website, please create one now:

Then you have to provide some basic info and you Kemper Profiler serial number, you can find it when you press SYSTEM button on your Kemper Profiler and go to the last page 18/18 (< PAGE > buttons)

You need USB A-B cable to connect your computer to your Kemper Profiler using USB A-B printer cable

Then start Rig Manager and login (File -> Preferences...) there using the credential you provided while creating your account on Kemper website:

Hi @nunpuncher - yes you connect PC/MAC to your Kemper, where the squarish end plugs into the back of the Kemper:

You don't have to download the profiles onto your laptop.
Just double click on any chosen rig/profile in Rig Manager - it will be sent to preview onto your Kemper.

Let me know if that helped. -
I'm failing again. In getting msg saying 64 bit operating system isn't supported by this installer..plz download the rig manager installer for Windows 64 bit
Spent 30 mins so far looking for that
Getting way overwhelmed right now
Any suggestions would be sooooooooooooooooo appreciated -
the Rig Manager .zip you downloaded contains both the 32-bit and the 64-bit version.
Rig Manager.msi = 32-bit version
Rig Manager 64-bit = 64-bit version(assuming you're using Windows)
hope this helps

Any clue why I'm getting that msg . I have 0 computer skillz

Are you using MAC or Windows? -
Windows

The Rig Manager download contains two different files. One is an installer for 32 bit Windows, and the other is the installer for 64 bit Windows.
You received that message because you attempted to launch the 32 bit installer on a 64 bit Windows computer.
Launch the 64 bit Rig Manager installer file, and you should not get that message.

Hmm ok gonna try this when I get up ..but I don't remember seeing a diff version ..but if I'm involved in sure it's there ...tnx for your help...will let you know how it goes

Ok I guess I got the 64 bit one I never saw a box like yours but now when I go to the set up wizard it is saying it's wanting to change repair or remove it. I'm so lost I have no idea which to chose
-
Also when I connect my kemper to my laptop nothing really happens. My kemper seems the same and nothing pops up anywhere on my laptop acknowledging its hooked up to kemper is this correct
