Display MoreHi Bert, whouuu what a graet tune! Could you so kind and describe it a liitle bit? I'd like to know what profiles
you have chosen for the
different main parts. There is one of my fav sounds in one solo
that is nearly the same as a pretty good luke sound. Awesome man!
This is exactely what i expected from the kpa.
Have a great new year and save some fricandel for mecheers
Frankand..........
Thanks Frank !!

Intro : right BEC ch 3 plexi, left Shower 62 played on my Folreden (the runover) strat. The end intro chord is the Shower 69 Dick Dale. The funky chops are Shower 62.
Verse rhythm guitars : right BEC ch3 M gain 10 neck PU strat, left BEC ch2 plexi with stomp 2 boost bridge PU strat.
Theme verse : CA ch3 A with strat (big dipper pu's) neck.
Space chords : Shower 62 Dick Dale
Second part verse lead line : CA luke with Valley arts (EMG) strat neck .
Second part verse rhythm add : CA 3+ ch 2 crunch 2 left, BEC ch2 plexi with stomp 2 right both strat bridge
Interlude and rhythm underneath solo : BEC ch3 boost left and right strat (big dipper pu's)

Wow, just awesome!
All around just great Bert! Thanks for that gift, wonderful in every way!
Inspiring. Beautiful. Pure class.
Wuddun, Bert! You da man, bro'.
No worries man
We're all searching constantly to improve sounds and to make our music sound better.
A good soundlibrary (for keys) is one thing, good profiles for the KPA another.
At this moment I'm totally into the profile thing...Cheers, Bert
As I said, you're a class act, Bert. Thank you, mate.
I do enjoy tweaking, and am doing so on yours as well, hope you don't mind!

Nein! Schtweiking ist verboten!
The disappearing is a very strange thing.....I hope I'll get some more reactions from guys who knows why this happened !!
I made a soundfile of the ch 2 pre stack boost (without and with).
You're right, post stack is the only way to get it louder, pre stack will add only more crunch.Bert

Hi Bert, it seems that the kpa team have changed something. There are no commercial sellers in the top 5. Also Guido dissapears and he has over 600 comments/posts. Maybe the commercial thing is the point behind it.
cheers
Frank
bert, used a handful of your profiles exclusively at my new years gig and the sound man loved them FOH. mainly i dug the tones i was getting also. good stuff!
@Eltzejupp Hi Frank, I've got a message which explains (more or less) how the automated system works.
As far as I can understand it has also to do with spamming/bumping so perhaps all my answering caused the problem....
The system sees that as spamming/bumping...But I'm still not sure.
Anyway, it's gone but people still can find the threads as far as I can notice
Ah, i see, but i dont care for it so much because i know where i find you and i have still an eye of your great work. So please go on in profiling and give us some more of your awesome sounds!
cheers
Frank
and......
Just played a couple of hours with the profiles. I read so many good things from everyone on this forum about them and they are all oh so true!
Great to have a community that points you towards the best profiles:)
I think Bert has got to be some sort of Kemper magician.
For 50$ they are a steal.. Never got so much guitar goodness for that money;)
I've have been using the Axe Fx 2 for years. On Facebook I saw reviews of Bert Meulendijks Profiles. It made me curious. So I bought a Kemper and downloaded the sounds of Bert! I was blown away. Great sounds. Very very very good!! It made me decide to sell my Axe Fx and hold on to the Kemper. Not because of the sounds that where already in the Kemper, but because of the sounds of Bert Meulendijk. They are ready to gig and ready to use in the studio. Also with a pedal board it sounds great!!!!!
So buy the pack!! Its mindblowing!!!!!
Welcome. Good to hear you are enjoying the Kemper and Bert's profiles.
