Yoda Guitar thanks. So it is possible. Not sure I am smart enough to give it a try.

Has anyone connected their profiler USB via wireless to Rig Manager on a PC? I'd like to do away with the USB cable. Looking for ideas. I've seen the past about adding access point to legacy profiler to run rig manager on tablet/ipad. I've got that running, but it doesn't support Rig Manager on a PC.

Is there a way to hear/try Kemper Kabinet in Dallas/Fort Worth area before buying? Sound coming from headphones is glorious, but not found anything my ears like coming from powered speakers or amp fx return.
Asked Kemper USA (question above) several days ago and no response to question.

Do you have the tone stack settings saved so we can convert these to liquid profiles once the feature becomes available?

Yes but the application is the one that should be doing that
I prefer that it leaves the file behind. I save these files and always have a way to go back a revision or more if required.

From G String dated 15 Feb 2019 post #192 "Rig Manager 3.0 Editor" -
"we support what makes sense from various standpoints. it's not necessary a good idea to start developing something and use deprecated/old technology right from the start. of course, we have no plans to exclude older versions unless we feel that it is necessary. macOS 10.9 is a borderline case, can't promise anything right now. for windows, it will be 8 or higher. there might be a chance that new rig manager version will continue to work with e.g. windows 7 but the editor part will be not visible in this case."

The stomp wah when added does not make a wah sound unless the parameters are adjusted properly. This has been the case for several years. (Unless they have changed something in recent releases). If you want a wah sound and are not proficient with making the adjustments yourself, load a wah preset (use browse knob instead of type knob). Look for a post from Monkey_Man in this forum regarding many popular wah pedal presets.
Edit: Kemper Wah Settings

Must not be a global issue. Just updated and do not have this issue. I'd suggest doing a backup and forwarding issue to Kemper.

this is a bug that somehow slipped through the betatest. Our developers are already aware of it.
Thank you for chiming in. For those that are experiencing this issue will be happy to hear that Kemper is aware of this bug.

I own the Kemper since 2012 and therefore own a lot of "old" profiles too. If I preload those old profiles via RigManager and part of the profile is reverb then the reverb mix seems to be always on 100%.
Not experiencing that issue. What does Kemper support say?
-
With that in mind, if there were ten betas but only one had a problem that carried over into production, you'd only experience the issue if you installed that specific beta. Sometimes a bug shows up in one beta, gets fixed and is gone by the next one. Other times it can live through several betas. It's just the luck of the draw if you're not installing every one of them.
I've installed every beta and release of both Rig Manager and the OS for years. I am not experiencing any of the issues mentioned by some (popping when changing rigs via RM, mix going to 100%, change in sound, ...). So if these issues were due to a specific beta, I should have seen these issues. Something else must be going on.

Great playing and authentic sound. Care to share your profile info?
-
My bad. I have 13 versions (most Betas and some released) stored on my hard drive between 1.3.5 and 2.0. For 10 of them I have the release notes as well. Once I switched to auto update, I didn't save any release notes. How can I send them to you?
Edit: Mine are all Windows versions.

Bommel - the updates you are looking for are on the Kemper download page. Select 'older software versions' under 'category'.

Installed 10/12/2018 on my PC.

That did the trick. Thanks.

Maybe not as 'safe' as you think.
Update: Issue solved. Solution in above link.

Windows 10, latest KPA beta and ToastME 1_28. Tried ToastME 1_29 but it didn't work either plus inverse cab/amp didn't work.
