There is a one problem- what if someone have a performance with commercial rig inserted not available trough rig exchange?
This! It's a great idea but i agre ;(e with damian, most of my performances are done with commercial rigs, so it wont work
-
If you have a commercial rig, you don't share it.
If you have a commercial rig in a perform ance, don't share the performance.
-
If you have a commercial rig, you don't share it.
If you have a commercial rig in a perform ance, don't share the performance.
This! No showstopper at all.
-
It's no different from how things are now. You could go ahead and share commercial profiles on the Rig Exchange if you wanted, they would just be removed and you'd be banned.
-
... and with the new RM, it's already clear how these shared performances could be accessed & managed.
-
Google found this thread when I was searching for a performance exchange.
Yes, please: +1 on this feature request.

Love this idea... Maybe there could be a warning / reminder, that comes up to prevent users from unintentional sharing of comercial profiles (sometimes it`s not so easy to remember where I got some profiles from, if they`re bundled, there still is a risk to overlook or get disorientated), cause I think noone wants to get banned from this wonderful community...

I went in this trap. I have uploaded an uncommercial rig with a commercial cab. Big trouble.....

+1 If there is a warning for using commercial rigs or cabs or what else.
I like that there are a lot of good rigs free in the RE but agree that commercial contents has to be protected. -
I wonder if there is a way the Kemper team could decouple the Performance parameters from the profiles they are based upon? If that was possible, in theory, you could share the Performance with information about which commercial profiles you used...
Another user could either buy the commercial profiles and then combine them with the Performance or maybe apply the Performance to other profiles?
Not to sure about the feasibility from the actual Kemper code perspective but in theory seems plausible. Sort of like using a filter in photoshop.

I think it would be only fair that anyone sharing PERFORMANCES would leave the amp and cab out but note in the comments what they were. Then people can either buy the profiles or locate a substitute on RE.
