This is what I do now. It requires that I adjust all 5 slots every time we change keys. This is quite tedious. It's nice that it won't cost me a stomp slot when I get my Mk2, but I still have to change each slot (saving each time) in the RM.

I would like to able to manage MIDI out assignments on performance slots in the Editor.

The UI for this on the device is really inconvenient + it would be great to see it in the Editor in order to see the assignments at a higher level (all the slots in a performance, for instance), so displaying it in the Editor along with the title, etc. would be nice.

My primary use of the Transpose function is to change the key of a song (like a capo, except it can go down as well as up). This would be far more useful to me at the Performance level than slot level. For one thing, my use of Performance Mode (like I think a lot of others) is to use a Performance for each song in the set. Most of the time, at least for me, there are no key changes in a song. It would therefore be very useful to be able to set this at the performance level vs slot level (for the same reason Tempo is set that way).

This is particularly needed since it is hard to make the pitch change stick in the Editor.I make the change and it keeps slipping back!

I have a Freqout but would expect Kemper can make it better.

Transpose at the Performance level would be nice. I often use Transpose for playing open E in less convenient keys, for instance. It would be nice to adjust it just once for the entire song.

I do it almost every Sunday. Look at the free presets at Tone Junkie for starters.

All true, but if I want to use the Profiler as the controller, all it can send is a PC. It would be nice to be able to adjust the PC for each performance slot in the RM. The UI for doing it on the unit is cumbersome.

Yes, edit a slot to set what messages are sent when the slot is activated.

Kempers can only send PC messages. I've been asking for more for years, but I've pretty much dispaired of this ever happening.

you can do it via MIDI, but not with MIDI program changes, download the MIDI docs from the support page
