This is probably a stupid question, but what are "loyalty codes"?
You purchased some TAF packs before? You get some discount.

1973 Orange Overdrive or 1968 Orange MatAmp?
1973 Orange Overdrive or 1968 Orange MatAmp?
both?
1973 Orange Overdrive or 1968 Orange MatAmp?
Sorry, been under the weather so to speak.
Both of thease amps are different animals.
The MatAmp, is classic vintage, directly. - it wont do modern at all. - great for that breakup tones, and classic rock.
The Orange Overdrive, this is a modded version, as it was used by Noal gallager, so its a bit "scratchy" with a midhump to cut through a distorted signal. - this is a more versatile amp, but lacks the sweetness of the Matamp. - if you like the indirock vibe then this is the nobrainer..
for me, I adore the Matamp, one of my favs. - enjoyable to play, and really does work with you as a player in every aspect.
After Ive sorted the soundclips for pack4, I am thinking to do a video of some of my profiles, in my studio here. so people can hear exactly how they sound to me, and from me. - and the MatAmp is one of the ones i'll be focusing on.
(I did say thinking about a video, so dont hold me to that)
Andy
Looking forward to it, just dont put too much make-up on, it will distract us from the sound and playing though...
Neil
Actually I was going to wear Fake Boobs, - this way it WILL distract the audience from my shoddy playing!.
I know I sound like a broken record but I can't help myself when it comes to Andy's stuff and that infamous (greenback) Siggi Mehl cab
So here it goes:
I was a little bit disappointed of the '66 JTM black flag. This is an amp I always wanted and I expected the sounds of AC/DC as well as Clapton with Cream, Hendrix or early Free. The profile as it came didn't do any of that, it was too scooped in the mids and I couldn't completely dial that character out with EQ. The profile I used was "JTM 66 on 11". I felt that was not completely due to the amp but maybe the cab wasn't the perfect match for the amp. Although Andy says the speakers are pre-rola 12M25 they sounded just like G12H30 speakers to me for whatever reason. I'm sure they were what Andy says, they just didn't sound the way I like them with this amp.
So I did it again, I changed the cab for the S. Mehl cab which definitely is G12M25 loaded. And tadaa, there it was, THE elusive JTM "black flag" sound. You can dial in the above mentioned sounds pretty easily. For Angus turn down the bass and turn up the mids and presence, back up the gain a little and you get instant "Highway to hell". For Clapton/Cream set bass to "0" and bring up the mids and presence up and leave gain as it comes. For (early) Kossoff it's much the same as AC/DC only with the bass at zero again.
Try it, it's much fun playing that classic sound.
i have so many folders with so many settings, where would I find this cab?
thanks
There's a S. Mehl amp in rig Pack 02 which contains the cab.

Is the cab from the S. Mehl factory presets (Talk to Me being one of them)
