Another attempt at minimalistic playing thinking just 2 notes at a time on rhythm and lead using double-stops and the cocked wah again. Both guitars parts using my Schecter Sun Valley and ESP Retroactive pickups on a Mesa profile.Fitting the bass in is still tricky.

Just a simple ballad in a West Coast LA style made popular in the 80's and 90's. Musically, I grew up with this style so every once in a while I revisit.

Some soothing calmness in these times of calamity.

Some DX love going on there with that FM synth intro. Nice playing throughout on all the instruments, and I like the creative sounds on the drums too. You have great production, very relaxing indeed Mats_Nermark !

Zampa 70 it's just because in 70's they used to wear ''flared trouser'' and they play with whawah..
(I know I have to find another way to title my projects but, it's better than 'asdfg' right?)
You’ve got a vibe going on there Sollazzon, nice wah!
Another neck surgery recovery song. I've always loved catchy bass line hooks by Drowning Pool, Rage, Alice in Chains, etc. so those influenced this one. This mix was pretty easy to do and much fun, but finding the right amps, tone, gain, and pick attack took me a couple of weeks. Using Mebo Rect amps and a cocked wah on my KillStrat (SD Custom) in Eb.
I have finally been able to track guitars once and not have to do any splicing or cut & paste!

Well done both on the track and with your perseverance on this road of recovery BayouTexan . Good riff, sounds a nice clean mix with everything in its place too!

Texte de Denis Cresson ;
