Switch off the noise gate, set the clean sense lower, try again. Don't be shy to use the controls. Also lower the master: the fizz could be outboard gear's clipping. The KPA can be quite hot anyway over -20 db on the Master Output.

You need to sync the all content just once, after it will get only the updates
-
70% RE (tweaked)
30% TAF -
An IR is a Seiko, a Kemper Cab is a Rolex.
An amp sim is a Hyundai, a Profile is a Ferrari.Kemper Cab + Kemper Profile = RolexFerrari
Funny statement from a Japan friend like you! Hope you're doing well, Lance -
My pleasure, enjoy it!

To everybody: if distorted rigs sound clean check the parallel path settings in the Rig menu, it must be disabled
-
Anyone else get only clean sounds from what should be a distorted profile? For me at least it was the amp factory mesa mark v profiles that had issues in 2.3.
check that the parallel path checkbox (rig menu) is unchecked on that rig

Dear God!!!
It seems we all have the same old Standard noisy version....The upgraded quieter Deluxe version promised, was never released...
You can get only the trial version, but as soon as you purchase it for some reasons it reverts to the standard performance. .... -

Well, at keast the OP knows that his unit is absolutely virgin!!! ...never been plugged before...

Thanks Tyler. I use your free cabs quite a bit, so I decided to buy your Chimaera pack as a donation. After checking out the demo's, I may actually like them so I will give them a good auditioning.
BTW: I could not find "Canada" in the country list, but I did find "Kanada", so I chose that. Just wanted to point it out to you as I am not sure if it is a typo or translation error.
That is how you write it in German

Mhhh... I was referring to the double preamping due to the mic pre in the mix desk.
As for the S/N ratio... I guess you meant it was high?
Yep, sorry, too much beer at rehearsal this night.... -
Has the wiKPA a section for Profiler induced deseases and malfunctions of the body and mind yet?
These are all related to womens iterations, not to music gear.... -
LOL ...supposedly a lot of noise, but it seems to have done the trick
Not really, out of the clean sounds (and I mean crystal clean) I have the noise gate 2:1 on every rig (in D slot). The S/N ratio is very low unless you push the clean sense very high or you set the comp mix at less then 100%. -
I turned it down at about -30/-40db (can't remember exactly).
