Integrated pedals means your stuck with what the manufacturer gave you. External pedals means you get to use what you prefer.
Not it that it matters anymore, but I disagree with you. What you call a mistake I call a feature.

Foot Controller Leak:
Mr. Kemper during final tests of the foot controller (which can be clearly seen below the right front tire)

By the way, I would order the remote and have two mission pedals with it. You guys sure did some talking to the guys at Mission Engeneering. Will there be an EP 1 (no switch) in a matching color? And when will it be available?
There seems to be a tug of war between Pedals (extra cost) and No Way If Over $x.xx (lower costs)
The only way to please both is to not have pedals built in and allow those who wish for them to get them as accessories.
They way I look at it, pedals are heavily mechanical. Mechanical stuff breaks faster than anything else. So it's always best to be modular with mechanical devices.
I buy a Yamaha MIDI piano, but I have sound modules modularly as well as foot pedals. This way I can upgrade the sound (which upgrades every few years) and fix the pedal (because it gets heavy usage) and not have to hump my 88 key piano around for fixing which never breaks. It's from the 80's and still going strong (knock on wood)
... Same situation here. And same thoughts
It looks like it is thin and small
Looks nice. So no I/O at all from the pedal (midi or audio). Would've been nice, but likely would have been more expensive. Looking forward to having one!
Nice. Guess it´s the Big One. It has 14 Buttons. Anything about the Dimensions?
Does anybody can estimate the size? Do you think it will fit in the kemper bag?
You can estimate the dimensions using those 1/4" Jacks, or the RJ45.
35/40 cm?
for me, no midi= first 2015 worst bull shit....
it s like the line6's footcontrolers...
you can use this only with the kemper. WHY ???! ! ! ! !

I wouldn't expect kemper to design a controller optimized to work with everything like RJM, or Liquid Foot, or Voodoo Labs would. I imagine priority #1 is what works best for their product, the KPA.
It's called the Kemper Remote for a reason. If you want something universal, buy that. But then don't expect it to be optimized for the Kemper. By the same logic, don't buy a Kemper footswitch and expect it to work with other products. This is just plain logic...

I want one!!!
Hi boys and girls, I did some simple research about the size of KPA remote using this:
[Blocked Image: http://s13.postimg.org/msiix0ntj/aaa.jpg]
I measured the inner width os RJ45 slot. It is about 9.3mm - so based on this dimension (35 RJ45 units in width and 6.3 RJ45 units in height) this size would be:
32cm width
THIS IS WRONG SORRY, GO TO PAGE 73 FOR PROPER DIMENSIONS 6cm height

Hope I won't be banned from this forums seems small one. Once I had ZOOM G9.2tt multiefect and it was ~50cm or more, but it had 2 pedals built in,
So it should fit in the green bag! Yeah! Give me one!
...so
1 controler for the kemper
and
1 controler for all my midi gears...
or
1 controler for all my midi gears....
with a old boss gt3, i can : change rig, control volume or wah, control my strymon timeline (and his bad looper) and a external disto...
