I bet the folks at Kemper are getting a laugh from our guesses. ?

Let's wait and see what is really inside of the boxes. Maybe they are just boxes with no content yet.
Personally, I would prefer to get a release date for the Kabinett than a ready-to-sell floor board. Waiting for this Kabinett thing since Winter NAMM and still no release date. Same to the new editor. And we are already in Q3.
Just a saying I heard once a while: "stop starting, start finishing (your projects)".

Germans aren’t that cagey.
They also said Summer. Not Q2.

Should call it the Kemper Ax-elix... Mess with the competitors a little...
or the 'Kemper Axes Fractal & Helix in One Fell Swoop!'

As an example the FM3 provides...

Anyhow looking pretty sweet and exciting. Only thing I wish based on these photos is that it bucked the recent trend to not have an expression pedal on floorboard units.
I'd really hope not to have an inbuilt "bound to break at somepoint expression pedal" baked into the design of such a high end device in terms of feaures and no doubt price.
-
I can't believe they would bring out something that would effectively make the Head and remote defunct....
Would they...?
Nah.
Goes completely against Christophe Kemper’s history.

I’ve never had an expression pedal break on any MFX unit, in fact I’ve never had any expression pedal break for me full stop except the cheap external plastic ones. Momentary switches however is a different story.

Actually you know the thing that’s gone most for me with any piece of kit isn’t even a part that comes into contact with your feet... it’s always the connectors. No matter how careful you are, just the act of plugging/unplugging is enough to loosen them up, especially power, jack and USB seem inherently prone to losing grip and becoming wobbly, then shortly after disconnected/dead.
-
Just on the connectors thing, I hope this new thing still has Digital I/O - for robust connectors and decent cable runs AES/EBU would be preferable. It occurred to me that if you have XLR audio outs you could possibly have them switchable between AES/EBU and XLR audio. Kill two birds, as it were.

Looks like there will be additional send return pair
No ethernet connector(for second remote) ?
-
so much for a slimmed down version. Looks like it has more options than the current units as far as connectivity and routing and does profiling. Videos in use coming up......
-
I wanna know the price and what it offers compared to the original KPA
-
pretty cool. I suspect it will be priced accordingly, eg not cheap.

Looks like it offers everything the unpowered versions do, though with a second stereo effect loop (nice!) and no Ethernet connection, so no 2nd mirrored Remote, though I wouldn’t expect that to be an issue with the musicians this would be targeted at (less likely to play arena stages with techs to switch for them).
-
It looks like the potential of CS42435 has been fully exploited(4x A/D , 8x D/A). The question is whether it will be possible to use the additional FX loop in the old KPA(I'm afraid no - two of the D/A is used for headphone amplifier) . So no headphone output in new floor model.

I expect it to cost the same as the KPA/Remote bundle, if not more.
