There are no related differences between 5.7.4 and 5.7.5.
Yeah, 5.7.5.14419 Public Beta is really buggy. Crackles and sound skips all the time through SPDIF. This is a new regression. Definitely changed in this version.
What sample rates are you using?
I have tried 48 kHz first, then reverted back to 44.1 kHz. Same problem with both.
Then installed 5.7.4, and the problem went away.

Interesting. No cliks and pops here with SPDIF and audio interface in SPDIF slave mode.
I have been getting some such pops after updating to the beta too, but assumed it was some audio interface issue. Will try installing the earlier os.
Massive noise through SPDIF here since installing this update today. My sound card seems totally confused by the sample rate coming out of the Kemper. I have the Kemper set to 44.1, and my soundcard is putting out wild noise, and seems to be reporting a rate of 192k. I've tried all the sample rates, and none will allow the clock to sync, it seems.
EDITED TO ADD:
I restarted my Kemper to reinstall the previous OS, and I must have left it on 88.2 when I had last shut it down. It synched with my sound card, and I could actually get signal via SPDIF. Since I was going to update the OS anyway, I decided to try it at 44.1, and same crazy noise/unstable sync again. Hope this helps.
I have total audio cut-out when using SPDIF after a few seconds, which affects both the SPDIF and Master line-outs.
I had the same issue after updating to the last beta firmware. There were audio cut-out and strange behavior in Sonar, in recording and in play modes. Took me some time to realize it was in relation with spdif and that my Kemper, wich is connected to my audio interface by spdif for recording, could be involved in this. The problem did not occur without spdif connection.
So I reverted to 5.7.4 and everything is ok now.

Same here. Sound first cuts out frequently then finally disappears completely. 48 kHz to Focusrite 6i6.
our programmers have found the bug that causes the S/PDIF connection to fail and are already working on a fix.
Check out 5.7.6 public beta!
Hm. I'm seeing the same SPDIF issue as above with 5.7.6 (updated via Rig Manager, double checked that it was 5.7.6, just to make sure.) Sounds like exactly the same behavior as far as I can tell. Kemper set to put out 44.1, interface is reporting that it's receiving 192. And the major crackling sound.
Check out 5.7.6 public beta!
Something is not right. No matter what fs I choose my soundcards is syncing to 44.1 kHz. But no clicks or pops.
The latest beta is triggering a drop out on my S/PDIF connection. I had to revert back to release OS...
Just installed 5.7.6 and I get no signal via spdif to my soundcard (Focusrite Saffire 6i6 2nd gen). Kemper, guitar and cords are working (check by plugging in XLR).
When I updated to the previous Beta I got not SPDIF signal at all. I put it down to my interface rather than the KPA but I don't rely on SPDIF anyway so I just ignored it at the time. I updated to the new Beta last night but didn't check SPDIF. I'll check my current OS tonight then load the new one for comparison.
The dropouts were regular and short and timed around two seconds apart. The warning light on my interface blinked every time it happened. Another strange thing happened with the previous beta. When I would start up the profiler and then run the sound through S/PDIF into Reaper to play alongside a track, the track tempo and pitch had changed as if I had changed the sample rate from 44.1 to something slightly faster. I don't know if any of this helps but it has forced me to restore to the release OS which works fine with S/PDIF...
