Beautiful! What model?
Sorry, I meant to put that in. It's a Gibson L5 CES Wes Montgomery. I've had it since the mid-late 90s.

I finally own a guitar I've wanted for ~10 years. It sounded dull so I checked the battery. Corroded and the terminal came apart.
Luckily Fenders UK support is great.
Sounded insane, feels solid and it's not 'another black guitar'.
Deoxit or set in Coke.

The connector seems intact. Soak in White Vinegar is what I use. Carefully pull the old battery connector out.
Deoxit or set in Coke.
Coca Cola. Good for drinking and removing battery acid. Have a Coke and a smile!
70s Hagstrom Swede bass
Last year I started playing a Spector Dimension 5 Bass on the left. It has a 37" scale.
Last week I starting playing a Spector Bantam 5 Bass on the right. It has a 32" scale.
That 5" difference feels like a mile.
Whooh! I don't have long enough arm length for that one.

oh Yeah? Well when I go from a 25.5 inch guitar to a 34 inch bass that 8.5 inches feels like 2 miles with a flat tire!

Thanks all. Managed to remove.

I entered the Strandberg contest to design your own Boden refurbished. The winner is selected based off if their own luthiers can duplicate your design. So you need some photoshop knowledge. And the winner is responsible to apply the design themselves. Here is my entry and hope I win it. It's based off of my KillStrat. But bad luck is my middle name. If you come across my entry please give a like if you like it.

And if it wasn’t for bad luck you wouldn’t have no luck at all 🤣

That design works great on that guitar style. Well done. I think you have a chance.

Me too I really like it...personally I prefer HH set up, 2 red Humbuckers would have nailed it for me.
