I sent my power rack to be repaired.
UPS has made two delivery attempts and there was nobody there to receive it.
Are they out for the week or something? I'm worried that this thing is gonna get sent back to me and I'm gonna have to re-ship it -
I had another gig last night at a different venue. I decided to give the power rack another chance, this time with a different SVT 8x10 and a new speaker cable.
Everything sounded great at soundcheck and 5 songs into the set I'm feeling very thankful that everything is sounding great.
Next song, the same thing happened.
All the punch in the sound was gone and a warbling sound was coming out of the cab.
The house feed sounded fine.
This leads me to suspect it must be the power amp or supply.
Note: I've used this setup since I got it and never had this issue until these last last 2 weeks.
Kemper tech guys, do you have any ideas? -
I was not playing at insane volumes.

I am a bass player. I was using my Power Rack Profiler today at a gig with an SVT 8x10 cab. It was an outdoor gig and it was hot outside, although the stage as covered.
During soundcheck, everything sounded great. About a song into the set, it started making all kinds of static and then a loud fluttering sound like a motorcycle. I tried turning it down and it stopped for a few seconds then started back up. I thought maybe my wireless was messing up so I switched to a guitar cable. No difference.
I had no backup head and the gig was ruined for me. When I got home from the gig, I turned on the kemper without the cab and only headphones and it sounded fine.
Could it possibly be a bad speaker cable? I don't think it's a blown speaker because the noise was coming from all of the speakers.
Could it have overheated?
I can't plug it into the SVT cab at home to test it because it is loud as hell and the neighbors will call the cops.
I ordered a new speaker cable and will try it at this weekend's gig and will be bringing a backup head just in case.
Has anyone experienced a bad speaker cable? What would it sound like?
Thanks for your advice.

Thank you. That's the info I was looking for.

I was on tour using a backline provided by the opening band. I brought my Kemper player so that I could use my own tones.
I was running the Player left output into the effects return of the amp that the band provided.
Was this the correct way to use it?
The reason I'm asking is because after a couple of weeks the player started giving me problems and I had to replace it.
I'm getting ready to go out again and want to make sure I'm doing it right.
Thanks in advance. -
3 days. Still nothing but a support ticket.
I called the company and she said she would pass along to support.
Still no contact from support. How long should I expect to wait. I need my Player -
How long does it take to get reply from Support it's been over two days now

I tried a factory reset but to no avail?
Any ideas? Is this thing still under warranty?

Hi
I'm coming from the US to play Rebellion festival and a couple more shows in the UK.
I'm bringing my Kemper player with a US power supply. Can I use a travel adapter or do I need a transformer?
Thanks ! -
I figured it out. The USB stick was not FAT32 formated.
-
I'm trying to back up my Kemper Player to a USB stick. I'm holding down the bank button then starting it up.
How do I know when it is done backing up?
-
That's not on 125 of the player manual.
I cannot find it
-
Can you tell me how? Or point me to it in the manual?
-
Is there a way to assign a footswitch to activate the tuner and mute the rig?
Thanks!

Hi,
I would like to run my kemper player with an Ampeg SVT bass cab.
I need a power amp that is compact so I can fit my Kemper Player and the power amp in my carry on bag for traveling .
Venues are providing the cabinet so I need something I can travel easily with,
Can anyone tell tell me the best power amp to use?
Thanks!
