I've acquired these two during the lockdown. Schecter was brand new, made in South Korea in 2019, everything's stock on the guitar.
ESP was used and made in 2008. It's got Bare Knuckle Aftermath set, that's the only modification (by previous owner, not me). I was pretty surprised by the guitar, it's in a really good condition.
-
It would be nice to hear a soundclip with the ESP Horizon. I've got one too and I'm thinking of swapping out the pu with something else and Aftermath is on my list of possible pu's.
-
Sure thing. I'll make some sound clips this weekend.

Very nice!!!!! Its a bit greedy getting to new guitars though

I can say this on this forum as I am in good company...... Sexy guitars.

Absolutely. I've go a Schecter too but it's an old one, a Blackjack from 2004 with white binding. Why do so many guitarists hate bindings? Anyway damn good guitar.

For those that were interested, I have now swapped my Custom shop Strat's pickguard to a mint green relic.
I much prefer it to the tortoise one it came with, what do you think?
Also added a photo of it next to my Silver Sky for another comparison.
-
Crookster Stay with the new pickguard! Looks perfect now in my opinion
-
Agreed, looks way better!
-
Cheers guys, I agree!

Brilliant choice! Looks perfect to me. Good job.

It has my vote too, mate.
Classy choice.

In 90% cases I'd prefer to have binding, but on some guitars it just doesn't work (classic Strat and Tele shapes, especially MM Majesty). But to each their own.

Cheers guys, I must say I'm really pleased with how it looks.
Those Fat 60's pickups are fantastic too, sounds awesome, almost bell like.
Ive had many Strats in my life but I genuinely believe I have found "my" holy grail of Strats, it plays and sounds epic.

Here are two short clips I made this evening, nothing special:

Sounds brutal but the either the p.u. is a very bright one or the profiles used too trebly.
