Great work guys. Tried these settings out today and they are spot on. Any chance someone has the Dunlop Cantrell Wah settings?
need help setting up your Wah in the Profiler? do you own a rare Wah? let me know.

Hey @DonPetersen - ever get a chance to do that Morley Bad Horsie I sent you? If not, that's cool, but it'd be nice to have
-
Personally, I think these sound closer with the mix more around 65-85%. When you get 90-100% it sounds fake to me
-
Man I love the flexibility of the Kemper!
While I enjoy the settings suggested by Don Peterson (and thanks for all your hard work!) and others, I'm really loving a setting I found that is just great with Trower-like songs, like Too Rollin' Stoned (yes, I'm a fan, and play his stuff all the time, sorry LOL):
Manual: 3.1
Peak: 7.5
Range: +20%
Peak: -22%
Mix: 94%
Vol: +0.7This works well on the bridge pickup of my PRS's whereas some don't do it justice. Let me know what you think It is NOT based on any "real" Wah that I know of, just messing around... man, there's a plethora of great sounds to be had!!

I think I can borrow one. I'll do the white noise part and send to Don.
-
Awesome dahla. That is a very unique sounding wah and would be great to have its settings. Thanks in advance.

cool, might need more than just two recordings, though, because of the fine tune knob.

Yeah. I will do one with knob all the way down, one with knob mid-way and one with knob fully up.
I also have a friend that owns the Kirk Hammett wah. He lives quite a long way from me, but I might be able to swing that one as well, sometime in the future...

Naive to expect a truckload of wah presets based on real-world units to be added in a FW update soon?
Haven't seen them yet, but then again I've just stuck with one of the Kemper defaults for its smoothness and class, so haven't really looked at what's in the unit in quite a while...

I would love a Fultone Clyde preset!!!!!
-
Has anyone done this with the bonamassa signature wah pedal?

Oh you should play around with them, Nicky. There's a lot of even more useful wahs to be had, with different frequency responses and ranges. Play around with them some!

Boy what a wrong word choice in the above post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just now actually read it and corrected a terrible wording... YIKES!!! (I just hope nobody even read the original post!) I'm gonna start proof reading before submitting, hope nobody got the wrong idea who might have read it... mistake mistake!!
-
Ha! I think you got away with it, Gaz.
As for your suggestion, you know, it doesn't matter to me as I'm not recording yet, but I do hope that the Kemper Team™ includes every wah it can in a forthcoming update. I'd have thought this'd be a worthwhile selling point...

While we're waiting for all matched wah's to appear in a software update....How about we share what we already have with each other? Maybe in a new thread?
-
Whay a new thread? I suggest putting them in this one.
-
I suggest putting them in this one.
True enough as there are already a bunch.

going beyond existing hardware - excellent!
(to paraphrase a popular TV commercial) "Going beyond existing hardware" - priceless! -
excellent thread guys, keep going on, I tested the Hendrix one (up above) and that was a fantastic experience, I'll include it in my next recording sessions.
+1 to include them as presets in a next firmware
