This is the way I'm currently* profiling my amps.I've found this is a good solution to quickly find a "Standard" and, from there, get also some variations, easy to recall even years later with just a couple of click.

Basically I do Merged profiles with an Ibrid system of real heads and 'in the box' Cabs useing a Torpedo 16 and Wall of Sound by Two Notes.

Here's a Video in perfect Oxford english :pinch:

*since a couple of years or so.

(PS no, the 5 Marshall 2555SL profiles I've recently shared hadn't been created in this way)

Yes It Works. It works Really Good for Me!

I've been intersted to learn more about it 'cause it has the Cab Model of My fav Real cabinet for Free, I started from there and then, later, I've also been (I'm still actually) Beta tester for Genome, but I still use WoS for Profiling.

    Yep

Its cool to be able to use the same cab with different amps / digital amp models to get a feel for how good the models are getting (Amplitubes new Mesa models are really very good). For a free bit of software (they had a giveaway a couple of years ago) its outrageously good.

I use Cantabile to string together FX chains of plugins along with real-world gear instead of a DAW. Nembrini have just releasd a similar application called Nexus which looks simpler to use (are guitarists simple people ? Maybe, maybe not :D).

while this has been stated repeatedly in the past, I'd like to mention it again anyway:

it is not recommended to use a loadbox during Profiling, since such a device will not create an authentic amp/cab response.
Even if the load is labled as 'reactive', it will at best behave similar to one type of cabinet/speaker(s), but it can in now way reproduce the detail and uniqueness of a real speaker.

yes, but this would require you to connect a cabinet also - the difference is having a real cabinet as load instead of an artificial load.

I See, I can connect a real cabinet also to the Capture. Which one is better?

looks like the Capture is a speaker-level capable DI box.

Along those lines, all of my profiles were done before the Kab and liquid was introduced using the typical mic'd rig, but I'd like to now redo some direct and figured I'd just get the profiler DI box. Any idea when they might be back in stock in the US shop? Been checking daily.
