Hey Fleabag63.
Check out the owner's manualhttps://content-files.shure.com/publications/u…-user-guide.pdf
See pages 15 and 16
Consider getting a system that functions in a UHF band instead of 2.4 GHz
-
I've got one Gldx16 (had it before the Stage) and it works very well !
It's pretty expensive, i use it only on stage but never had problem with it

Do you use the Stage WiFi ?
because they use the same frequency 2.4Ghz. -

I don't have a recent ipad to play with Rig manager on tab. I assume this is the only use for Wifi ?!
Even if it would be the case, on stage, i wouldn't use it. My performances are made, i prefer only playing with my feet/hands to do the lasts settings...

I'm a rack user and had major problems with a Line6 Relay G55 in our mixing rack because there was also a wireless router to remotely control the RackMixer. So I switched to a StageClix System (5.8 GHz) but I think that company is out of business.
So far I haven't found any manufacturer that makes products for the 5.8 GHz.
The 800MHz (UHF) bands are mostly analog and have other problems like dynamic, noise, interference suppression. -
Thanx for this input, i didn't know.
We don't use any wifi in my band (for the moment). I keep lucky for the moment, no matter with this wireless system...
In fact, when i bought it, i was already using a multi FX pedal board and didn't want a big box to put aside on the floor and the choices were more restricted than today....

I’m new… so I’m not quite sure how to cable up the gldx16?
-
Anybody? Do I run the wireless like it’s an effect pedal?
I don’t even know how to cable up an external pedal yet!
-
no, Nothing special: from the wireless receiver Output to Your Kemper Input with a simple Instrument cable
-
I used an effects pedal patch cable and the wireless didn’t function…went to a regular instrument cable and the stage was fine but,
I went from the wireless to the guitar input on the Kemper the first time

look at the instructions for your wireless - there may be things you need to do for it to work correctly.
Example - you may have to “pair” the receiver with the transmitter (set them both to the same frequency) for the receiver to accept signal sent from the transmitter.
Another possible issue- The output of the receiver may need to be adjusted.

I didn't understand that you already have the GLXD so please disregard my earlier reply.

Since you have one, this is from page 7.
Connect #3 Audio Output Jack to the PROFILER Stage Input jack (far left below) using a 1/4-inch Tip-Sleeve guitar cable.

This !
I don't remember cause i bought mine 4 years ago but i think it was the first step !
-
Well, usually, when I was still using tube amps,
The transmitter and the receiver automatically linked up with each other….
Is that what you mean?
-
I think that the first time i used the Shure, i had to pair the transmitter and the receiver.
Now, the transmitter is automatically recognized each time i turn it on....

-
Have you got a commun amplifier ?
Have you tried with it ?
I've seen a reset vid on Utube, you could try it too :
