Hi guys,
Just a quick question, do you guys feel like updating the Kemper to OS7 changes the sound compared to OS6?
I came across a post on Facebook yesterday in which someone was complaining about that after he updated to the latest OS.
I own a Kemper Profiler Stage, so I'm unable to compare it to anything from the past as it came with OS7.
I personally don't feel like the Kemper sounds digital in any way, but some people on Facebook believe that it does sound more digital after updating. :p
So what's your opinion about it?
''Updating the profiler changes the sound"?

There’s absolutely no sound change.
Period.

We go through this periodically where someone wants to say the sound has changed. It hasn't. You might want to change the thread title ...

Since you agree the sound has not changed, you may want to consider adding a “?” to the end of the title of your post. It looks like you are stating that the update DID change the sound.

This comes up every time there is a new update. Kemper have ensured us many times before any OS update will not affect the sound

Changed the title.

One thing that might change is their global settings, which may give the illusion of changing their sound. When I update, I seem to have to reset the noise gate. It's possible other settings get reset, if they have been tweaked.

I did not change the sound of the Profiler towards to digital. I was on summer vacation.
No jokes: It takes some efforts to change the sound slightly in a digital amp. This is not possible by accident, as it would probably in an analog device. You might agree that we have no need to make such changes.
However, we get reports like that for every single software release...
