Yes, I believe that person's job description was: All things to all men. Their job interview was a doozy.

I noticed yesterday that Burkhard (who has been much less active on the forum for some time) started commenting much more again. Maybe that means he has finished most of his work on the editor and is ready to deal with other matters ?
Maybe the Kone and Kabinet aren’t that far away afterall ?

Maybe given all the comments on the Editor they've also decided not to give us updates on that...I know I wouldn't
-
Who would?
At least the Kempers can claim(and rightly they will do) they tried.
-
They shouldn't miss the Christmas-Bizz
-
I must say that I will probably go FR-FR cause i can't wait to much more, i will wait until the limit cause i would give to the kone a chance. A price and approximate date of release would be very useful (plus complete specs also )
I was expecting more informations since the moment they showed it to us.

Clearly they focus their resources on other projects. I really want to try out the Kabinet. This might be the product that makes the Kemper the perfect all in one solution. Imagine that they would have made available the same time as the Stage. They would have sold a ton of them...

Only if it had been the powered version. They said unpowered would come first...
-
Does anyone else think the Kemper Kab seems kinda small? Probably because it is a 1 12" speaker. Also, I think I saw an ad from Sweetwater that said $679 for the Kab. I not sure though because I tried to find it again and couldn't find it.
-
If Kemper released a powered version at the same time as the release of the Stage, both would have sold like crazy

True although in scheme of things I can't believe its that far behind as they have a tried and trusted power amp..so I would assume they will use that or something similar..

I just checked back in on this thread in the hopes that there had been some further news of the editor. Sigh.
And BTW, the Celestion F12-X200 FRFR guitar speaker is finally available. It will not surprise me if this driver, or a tweaked variant of it, ends up in the Kemper Kone. I'm gonna buy one and build a cab based on this article:
https://celestion.com/speakerworld/c…cabinet_design/
$175 for the speaker, good quality excess plywood, and a few bucks of parts.

I wish they made an 8" version.
Cheers...

My guess is it will be the F12-X200 without the compression driver, maybe similar to a 12L.

Guess we'll find out, if Kemper ever puts them on the street!
-
Will there also be a burn-in-time for FRFR-Speakers like it is with guitar-speakers ?
And how much time how many Hours will it Need ?
