I have a Rack that is 4 months old, looking to trade for stage unit.

I went with the MOTU M2. $150 and it is USB buss powered and it sounds great.

My Powered Kab died and Kemper sent UPS 3Day shipping both ways with no charge. (If your Kab ever smells, it is not normal, call Kemper)
I agree with the others ... excellent customer service

I too had the “hot electronics” smell and also developed a small low freq rattle when jamming with a drummer. Contacted support at Kemper US, where I bought the Cab and they are replacing the Power Kab with a new one. They have a 3 year warranty.
Great customer support.

I got it to work. I had to use the camera app and scan the WIFI logo on the Stage unit. First start RM and then the camera app, when you scan the WIFI logo with camera app (Logo is in System), it will ask if you want to join the network. Click join, it will take a few seconds. It works, but if you shut down, you'll have to do it all over again.
The App is really new and needs some work. Its kinda like Rig Manager Jr. at this point. I’m sure it will improve over time.

I agree, the looper needs a fade out option on the stop button. Press once for stop, press twice for fade and 3 times to erase the loop.

Sorry, I thought I read it in his thread.

I upgraded to the latest version with my Stage without any problems

I saw an interview with him. He said he only uses a couple of patches ... Morgan AC 30 and another one. He likes to do a lot of percussive things with the guitar. I saw him use a custom acoustic where he played bass lines on it and acoustic guitar rtm/lead all jazz of course. HE used Kemper octaver for the bass parts. He said he looks for sounds that don't sound like guitar, he looks "for something different". It was a duet with Robert Glasper a killer jazz pianist. On this vid below he plays percussion, bass and guitar on guitar.

If Kemper released a powered version at the same time as the release of the Stage, both would have sold like crazy
-
Does anyone else think the Kemper Kab seems kinda small? Probably because it is a 1 12" speaker. Also, I think I saw an ad from Sweetwater that said $679 for the Kab. I not sure though because I tried to find it again and couldn't find it.

I find it interesting that the ToastMe app worked up to version 6 and the version 7 upgrade crippled it. I wonder if the same things slowed down the editor release? The editor shown at NAMM was before the 7 upgrade.

Some of these are really good. Just wanted to say thanks!!!

I find rolling off the treble and presence a little bit helps tame the digital sounding rigs, also turning up the pure cab knob helps some.

You can save FX settings just like rigs, then you can load anywhere you want and have your favorite settings for each FX.

You can put any FX into any slot. If you want nothing in the slot, load a blank(its at the top of the list)
