22 base-rigs with 3-4 variations and modulations of every base-rig. And a few (I think 6-8) oktaver, harmonizer and shimmer rigs.
I'm a junkie for filing very personal tones with an own charakter.
How many profiles do you actually use?

I have c.30,000 on RM and use...............
6
but I change them regularly !

For live play I typically use 3 or 4 rigs, all with some type of morphing. Let's face it, when you're using a tube amp you have to rely on a pedal board to get all the nuances of tone ...

I'm in 2 very different cover bands. I use about a dozen different profiles live
-
I have just over 700 profiles loaded but in performance mode I use eight slots based on four profiles. Four performance slots of Two profiles for single coil guitars and four performance slots of two profiles for humbucker guitars.
With pedals/stomps and morph, it's all I need.
-
Probably about 15. I have two performances for a covers band, one for blues and one for jazz. M Britt mainly with some TAF. Good thread.

Maxi 10 profiles (mainly from Top Jimi for Rock stuff and SinMix for Metal projects)
-
All of them. Not in a single song.
-
Countless profiles in rig manager but only these for live usage
My current live rigs -
Around 10. That doesn't sound like a lot but I look at it as they were real amps so my 10 profiles are the equivalent of 7 tube amps, 4 cabinets and around 20 stomp boxes. And if you look at it this way, 10 profiles are actually a lot

I have about 20 heavy profiles and 6 cleans.
I try to match profiles to bands and then make performances for them. The trick for me is not repeating an amp from band to band.
For example, my Metallica tones are a MESA Mark V and a Roland JC120. Slayer gets a JCM800 and a Fender Twin, etc.I have a few "orphan" profiles that sound great but have no bands to adopt them yet. Guess I'll have to learn more songs...

I use only my own profiles.
About 2000.
400 are on my profiler.
-
I have about 40 profiles inside but use maybe just half (including 2 or 3 acoustics), the rest are from older obsolete performances that I sometimes go back to for reference.
I try push myself to make one new performance a month from scratch by choosing in my pool of commercial profiles without looking at the name. That introduces new profiles in my pool, purge those that get replaced and refines my selection over time. It's a great way to see which profiles are keepers and see if I can get away with certain profiles I wouldn't normally use. When I look back at the performances from a year ago, I can see it's much stronger now.

ATM, I am recording my album and I use exclusively 3 profiles.
