Having had the Freqout for a while now I'm convinced Kemper would do a way better job of it. I'm underwhelmed so far.
Feedback generator wanted like the Digitech Freqout

I don't think (hope ) this will take too much time (for Kemper conditions) to be integrated. Too many nerds begging and it IS such a valuable musical tool that cannot be easily overlooked by Christoph .

Basically I like the idea of endless tones. Not necessarily feedback-modified tones but notes that could be sustained forever. That would make the Kemper top notch. So if the effect can be used as sustainer type thing as well I would love it.

With the Freqout you get about 5 seconds of "feedback tone", then it just cuts off suddenly in a non-musical way. They'd really want to do better than that.

I think using morph to ramp it up would be cool.

I just joined this forum specifically to +1 this awesome idea! I use my Freqout constantly on tour with Gavin Harrison, The Pineapple Thief and Dave Stewart. It would be awesome to have that effect integrated into the Kemper!
I tend to change the feedback settings for certain songs, so it would be great to be able to save those as presets in the Kemper, rather than having to reach down in between songs and change the settings by hand.
A sensitivity and sustain control would be awesome as well, so you could change when the feedback kicks in depending on how hard you pick, as well as setting how long the feedback sustains after the fact. Anywhere from infinite sustain to short burst would be cool for effectual purposes.Currently, there’s nothing out there that I’m aware of that can replace the Freqout. If Kemper could add that effect into their unit with extra parameters, it would be an absolute game changer IMO.

Using the Freqout, I would still prefer an integrated solution.

I would say 5 sec is nothing for a guitarist. I often like to have a nice feedback right before a song starts or when the drummer is going to do an intro. So I can build it up…

… I additionally would think about a pitch trigger. Let’s say everything above e2 will have endless sustain or endless feedback (with ducking to avoid spillover if too many tones) and every note below remains unaffected. So no care about morphing…

Yes, agreed... This is what I hear as well. The "non-musical" decay....
I played with the FreqOut in a pre-stack loop with dirt pedals in front and behind it. Overall it didn't make much difference so basically I have resolved to park it in front of the Kemper input.
We need some Kemper engineering magic here - If there is one thing I despise it's going back to ext power supplies, pedals and patch leads

Yes! Being able to control the way that the feedback comes in and exits in a Kemper way would make this a killer effect.
