Yes, it will IMO.

This is the reason I switched from using Imprints (which was great) to FRFR in live context as the change to the PA will be much smaller with latter one and the profiles will translate easier.

I noticed L and R volume difference with toaster model when switched from mono to stereo.

First thought was mixer input difference, but they were identical. Also there were just little reverb from FX so that wasn't it.

Now I'm puzzled where the L/R output difference comes from.

Had to comment here as I remember the difference was around 3 db..

How well do these new SLO LP do the less driven Warren Haynes / Gov't Mule tones?

In the 2023 Rig Rundown Warren tells his Soldano's are all modified to maintain low end even with low gain settings. It is said that in practice this mod is basically just removing the bright cap across the volume pot. And I've understood that this (bright cap value change) can be now done also with newest firmware?

So in theory, it should be possible to nail these tones.., at least equipment wise.

Interesting! Just saw the newest "Tones & Talks - Legends Tribute Tom Morello" video. While I haven't tested the LP myself yet, I see in the vid that Thomas Dill first selects the LP JCM800 tone stack in use. And while he modifies the gain parameter from and back to "10" also the generic gain lowers from 6.1 to 5. So I guess this might suggest that the Michaels profiled JCM800 amp is capable for more gain than a typical JCM is capable of?

And while the Gain is lowering, is there happening anything else EQ wise or is it only about gain (just came to mind that bright cap comment above that could the sound get clearer also because of that)?

Just the pack content in Rig Manager for this new one seems to be wrong. It looks like there are the same 90 rigs as are in the combined Legends 1-3 pack.

Did Kemper take the profiler into a good studio and use a complex signal chain with multiple mics, top notch pre amps and eq or did they plug a 57 straight into the back of the profiler? If the latter, it would certainly disprove the need for expensive external mic pre amps.

Might be you are talking about the initial Nashville session profiles that still stand the test of time. With those ones I'd say it is probably the former..

Agree, would vote even for SL68 dedicated single pack to go with the good old Plexi -69 pack. Maybe expand the profiles with different speaker options (btw. those Blackback 25s sounded really sweet as well with 77 Mars so why wouldn't they with the Suhr!) and the Variac options. Pete Thorn seems to pull some of his favorite rock and VH tones from one (apart signature stuff naturally) so probably it'd be fine for me as well.

Both have spdif, but different kind. Rme optical and Kemper coaxial. That’s why you need converter inbetween.

Noticed the same with the newest release.

Locking effect slot in RM and then changing to other preset clears the effect selection in RM, but the locking works in KPA side where the effect stays put.

Had a first quick lap today and was digging these. It is always a promising start when the profile works and feels just as good out of the gate with both studio monitors and kab /w imprints. Need to spend some more time with some more SPL, but so far so good!

I've also noticed back in the day that there are some studio profiles that just don't work well with imprints for some reason - the tone is somewhat off, but the punch and dynamics even more so. I had to dump some awesome sounding profiles from the live set because of this.

I used to use one before the Remote came.

Small footprint and worked even with battery long enough for my needs. But yeah, limited to basic PCs.
