@120dBRockNRoll open Rig Manager 1.6 (I assume this is the version you have) and open File -> Preferences, tick "Also check for Beta Releases", restart Rig Manager and you should see the popup that new version of RM has been detected. Then automatic installer will updated Rig manager to 2.0 Beta.
Thank you skoczy, this worked for me!
Also a big thank you to G String and the whole Kemper Team... really awesome work!

Something goes wrong when trying to make a fresh install of Rig Manager 2.0 beta 64-bit version. (KPA is not connected):
Windows 8.1 x64
.
.
.Edit: Also, the shortcut icon has never appeared to the desktop when installing or updating the rig manager. I have always added it manually.
I got it working (I still have to add the shortcut to the desktop manully, though)
I think I was using a wrong file when trying to make a shortcut to the desktop. That's why the Rig Manager didn't even start.
This is the wrong file: "RigManagerIcon.exe" (It's inside "C:\Windows\Installer\..." -folder)This worked for me:
- go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Kemper Amps\Rig Manager
- select "Send to"
- select "Desktop (create a shortcut)"

Wow this is what I've been waiting for. I love rig manager updates and this one looks beautiful

When I'm in new delay preset folder and tested. But I've heard no difference from one preset to another , am I missing something here

Do you have Delay locked on your KPA?

Had a lot of trouble to do this, but.....I just updated my KPA from 4.somethig to 5.03 via RM 1.6
Then I updated RM to 2.0 via RM 1.6Got the following message when I launched RM
Software Version Mismatch
Your Profiler needs a software update. Please install version 5.1.0 or higher.
For more information, please point your browser to: http://www.kemperamps.com/startThis happens if the preferences include Beta Test Releases or not.
Doesn’t seem right to me. Why should I NEED to install 5.1?? (which is a BETA???)
Mac OSX 10.10/5

Yeah, that's the way it is. Be aware that RM 2.0 is also beta.

OK Michael, thanks, I can dig that, but even with "include beta releases" checked, it doesn't give me the opportunity to update to 5.1 beta via RM...gotta get the old USB stick out.
Ah well. no gig for a month, time to play around with new delays....and I STILL haven't got to grips with morphing haha! -
Went with "blind faith" an pulled the trigger for this update.
I really admire the great work involved in this release.
The cloud based rig pack feature is a very lucid approach in order to benefit the community.
Even though I had cut-n-pasted in my Rig Manager before, I since verified any dups and 'blitzed" them.Nice to know any new offerings will now be available for ready use at any time in the future.
Bravo Kemper Team!

Do you have Delay locked on your KPA?
I think This is the problems, yes I have delay locked on my browse preset , no matter how I gently touched or hard push , it won't unlocked

The Delay will not unlock unless the Delay is selected in the KPA window. Press the Delay button, so the Delay parameters are active in the window. Then, press the Lock button.

Do I have to install it manually with a USB stick?
I thought RM was now allowing for OS upgrades from RM? -
My guess: RM allows for updates, yes, but RM 2.0 needs kemper FW 5.1 to communicate (including installing firmware). So you need to use a USB if you've already installed RM 2.0. That's what I did anyway.
