Hi guys, I'm relatively new around here, thought I'd introduce myself by sharing some profiles.
Here's my first attempt at profiling my Mesa/Boogie Quad Preamp. There don't appear to be many profiles of this amazing preamp on the RE, so thought I'd give it some props! I profiled modes Lead 1 & 2 using Petrucci's Mark IIc+ settings((http://s92.photobucket.com/user/Octavariu…cciIIC.jpg.html), around the time of Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence.
I combined the pre with my Mesa 2:100 power amp going into a 2x12 Tremoverb combo cabinet. I've included individual profiles of John's settings for each mic used (SM57&E906), and also combined. I also profiled each channel/mic combination with a Mesa V1 Bottle Rocket OD pedal for extra gain options.
I've recorded a short clip of some the profiles as I couldn't resist the Dream Theater riffage:
Here's the link, I've also uploaded them to Rig Exchange:

This is my first attempt at profiling, so would appreciate any advice/tips on how to improve my technique. My initial impressions are that they are a bit muddy, and I'm struggling to get that a large tight bass response that I've noticed others are able to get. However all that might just be down to my cabinet and speaker combination.
