Rock solo harmonies...no good at all. Just don't sound the least bit realistic.

Please expound - rock solo harmonies - isn´t that a misnomer????
I find the Kemper produces very pronounced harmonics/harmonies... but then I´m just an optimist

Try programming the pitch effect to play the lower harmony part, while you play the higher notes. Make the harmony slightly quieter than the part you are playing.

Oh that´s what he meant @paults Thanks for the indication!
The only thing I dislike are the O/D pedal sounds. I prefer my stomp boxes still.

Yes, same here - the OD-Distortion-section is not the best - especially the Fuzz doesn't sound good!
Lack of a interface but im sure Kemper is developing a program thats going to be great
Can you guys please list any negatives or things you don't like about your KPA?
Is is it anything that made you regret your purchase?
We'll it's been over six months and i'm still tweaking sounds... This is why I'm starting to consider selling. The "Glorious" tone and "any sound you want" that so many people talk about is a mystery to me. I'm not giving up yet but I will say, the hours spent tweaking could have been put to practice.
That I don’t have it, ... yet.
Sorry, couldn’t resist

Guy, perhaps expanding your profile arsenal will help? I know you like the AC20 sound but what more are you missing? There are great AC15-30 profiles, JCM800 profiles, Mark 1-5 profiles, Tweed etc... Not sure if you're playing Metal but the list goes on.
I think you'd be doing yourself a dis-service if you don't explore some more profile options. Obviously if you're not happy that sux, but when you find a profile that jives for you there really shouldn't be much need for endless tweaking. That's the beauty of great profiles.
I hope you figure it out Bruddah!
I have already commented, but as an update .....

I’ve tried plenty of profiles, mostly MBritt but I’ve definitly explored rig manager uploads. My experience so far is average. Incan get a good ‘average’ rock sound for overdrive but digital distortion is a new thing to me and I’m lost. I can get a very smooth fusion overdrive with pedals and an amp. I really want this to work because I like the size and portability but dang it I just can’t find a happy place with its overdrive. I’m still gonna give it time but I’m on a serious hunt for information on how to use the graphic/studio eq in the d and x slots to really get what I want. Imevery time I mess with the amp eq things get messy.
Many users find the MBritt stuff a bit dark. I like it, personally. David Gilmour would use multiple GE-7's to achieve his desired tones, so I think you're on the right track.
BTW... did you try these dumble profiles?

Have you tried profiling the sounds you like? That way you would get what you want and still have the portability.

That's a great suggestion too, I mean it is what it does best!

I’ll check those out thankyou man!

I haven’t yet because I’ve been really hoping I could get it with existing profiles. I think this is the next step...
Also check out the Friedman Butterslax profiles in the free profiles section. Those are damn good.
