C'mon, we want more news
-
STT now gets new meaning, if it had any before
-
what about reverb and dely!? no news?
-
Sounds cool... be really useful for setting up a 'solo' for each rig - first tap takes you to normal rig, tap again in solo with boost, delays etc, one more tap to toggle back, without tying up I,II,III, or IV buttons.
-
Dude. This is awesome.
-
Looking very nice
-
That is exciting!! Did you notice the 2nd delay slot in that demo?!
-
Sounds a great feature I just love the PRS in the remote morphing video
-
Cool. Really close to something I request last year in March under "An-idea-for-a-boost-function-with-the-Remote":
I think it would be cool if every performance slot could have an alternate sub-set of some of the amp/tone stack settings, i.e., amp and cab would be the same for these A/B sets, but the settings for for drive, compression, tone, volume, and may some others could be different.
Pressing the performance button on an already selected performance slot would then toggle between these A/B settings.
A nice side effect of this would be that stomp/volume/wha settings would not change when you toggle between A/B as they do when you switch between performances.
I bet this would free up a lot of stomp and performance slots in current rigs and it is probably not that hard to implement in the KPA FW.
FWIW BOSS GT100 has something like this, they even allowed different amps on A/B, but I think that would not be necessary.
Well, it did not have the "seamless expression pedal" part, but I think I should get a T-Shirt from Kemper

No new effects?????

Someone said something about a 2nd delay in one of the vids. Where?
Morphing seems like a very cool idea. Not sure how I'll use it yet though.

Check out the second video on the announcement page Sam and look at the Kemper on the right side:

Congrats for your prescience. You'll have to keep your foot on the remote for your solo unless you use the expression pedal morphing.

Pretty sure the video says the morphing can be done via momentary or latch. Meaning you won't have to hold the button down to morph. I could be wrong but that's how latch works, no?
-
The Kemper Profiler OS 4.0 will be available as a free download some time in February 2016
The morphing can be done either by moving a pedal or by hitting a button on the remote. In the last case the morphing goes automatically within the time you set before.
The new delay is a dual delay. -

Press release has this:
"Now either by switching or holding the current Rig switch (momentary or latch mode supported) the sound is morphed from the basic setting to the upper level setting. Releasing the switch after holding it initially or hitting the switch again takes the sound back to its original state. "

The new delay is a dual delay.Where did you get this information?
