Just bought my Kemper Profiler today, and will start exploring it tomorrow.
Already had a "sneak peak" today and what surprised me was that a lot of factory rigs mentioned on the website not to be found in the Kemper libary.
Will update everything tomorrow, maybe that helps?
Going to use it through my Marshall JMH401 or TheValve 3/100.
Anybody got any tips for good floorboards?

Welcome to the group! Yes, when I got my KPA a couple of months ago I needed to update to the latest Operating System. Also, if you go over to the Download section you will see all the legacy factory rigs from previously released operating systems...

Floorboard? The Remote, of course... -
Hello there, welcome

I'm being advised to use another one (Behringer FC1010) because of more options en less expensive.
Also the Remote doesn't have volume/wah controls on it.
Anyone has experience with that? -
You are from Den Helder?
As a matter of fact, I'm using the Behringer with the standard UNO chip (Not the Kemper one) and it's very flexible indeed.

Hi Neoland,
I'm from Sliedrecht. That was what i was being told too.
Don't have it yet.
They need to send it to me later this week.
So it works fine for you? -
It works great for me, I wish you a lot of fun with it.

I've been using the FCB1010 with Uno4Kemper chip for a year and a half. It's been mostly working fine, but recently a couple of the switches have become much less responsive. Have to step on them really hard and/or multiple times to get a response. I'm not too crazy about the rather flimsy expression-pedals on the FCB1010 either. I've got a cheap 20 year old Boss EV-5 that is actually a lot better as an expression-pedal despite having been abused for all those years. Regardless, it seems that a controller with good quality switches (Kemper, Rocktron, Vodoo etc) and separate expression pedals is the way to go. However if you are prepared to pay for one of these high-end products I would recommend the Kemper FC unless you need a MIDI-compliant unit that is able to interact with other gear besides the profiler. -

Is it possible to connect an ipod, or my Macbook, through the profiler so i can rehearse via the profiler to the connected headphone?
-
Yup, easy peasey using the alternative input/return ports on the back. You even have a separate volume control in the output options. I'm doing right now! Welcome to the team.

I can't figure out how that works, i have my guitar or the alternative input.
Is it possible to use both? (guitar and Macbook connected to the Prf?) -
