Ah, and I thought this thread related strictly to NON-commercial rigs... Thanks HCarlH
You will find some free TAF profiles on the ampfactories site including some fantsastic sounding Carr profiles. You have to check them out.I use the "S6 brown"-profile all the time for blues, southern rock and rock & roll stuff. It is one of my top5 profiles..
ps
Turn the gain to 100% and then just use your volume knob..no matter if Les Paul or Strat.Dont know if Billy (Gibbons ofcourse) knows about the Carr´s.If not some one should tell him. -

I'll look for it, sounds very useful indeed... (though maybe not as useful as Alvin et al...)

The GRStudios Mark V profiles are pretty awesome. I've been messing with them at home for a while but finally had a chance to use them at rehearsal and they sound great.
-
The Friedman BE100 profiles I made right before I sold it.
I'd also like to check these out.

He put them on the rig exchange a couple days ago. They are very good!

I second that @meambobbo -
I will HAVE to check this Mesa, nll! Good playing, too. For this kind of music maybe one of the best (THE best?)
For any sort of heavy sounds u cant go wrong with Stikany EVH or Cili lab Mesa Mark IV... I have em both and they sound amazing!

Thanx man
I'm building a new home studio right now, so new Mark V profiles are coming up. -
For metal sounds: Fryette Pitbull profile from Ulf Kaiser (Freya Pea Bull PRE LD 11) and Rectifier cab profile from Till Schleicher (TillS Recto 4 x 12). Just add some mids and highs and a little bit of presence. Natural, punchy, killer!
I use it over PA, Alesis computer monitors or my Superlux headphones. Always sounds great and like a real guitar amp + box.
Till Schleicher's cab profiles helped me a lot to make the amp profiles sound more "guitar cab"-like finally. According to my opinion most Kemper factory rig profiles are not really suitable for metal sounds. Especially the cab profiles. They sound either way to compressed or have a fuzzy "microphone sound" to them if you play them over the FRFR box. They definitely never sound and feel like a real amp+cab if you have a good tube amp +guitar box for comparison right next to them.
If you have found other natural-sounding great profiles for metal sounds, let me know [Blocked Image: http://www.kemper-amps.com/forum/wcf/images/smilies/smile.png]

My favourite profile for metal sound is "SinMix Trirec" in the Rig Exchange. (Bugera Trirec profile).
There are two more Trirec profiles in the Sinmix free pack but this one in the Rig Exchange is better than those.
Even though it's not a merged profile, I use the cab with other profiles and it works well.Another one worth to mention is "PP 5153 Stealth 100S" by "PETE POTENS" again in the Rig Exchange.
This one is a merged profile, use it with your favorite cab and it rocks. -

If only one. I'd go with this. -

A big 'YES'. -
I've grabbed every profile from GRStudios that I've found on rig exchange. All great but IMO the Mark V:25 profiles are outstanding. Keep it up GRStudios. Looking forward to whatever else you come out with.

I'm a metal guy, owned Marshall's, Engl Powerball, 2 x MB Mark 4, MB Mark III, 4 x MB Recto's, Diezel VH4, etc.
I play these profiles on a Peavey 60/60 power amp with Rectocab 4x12 V30. Pickups: SD Blackouts, SD Custom 5.
Commercial: Sinmix Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier from Producer Pack 1 (wich reminds me the most to my last Pre500 Dual Recto / No. 0430). Definition 7.0, low/hicut at 115/8700 hrz.
Free: Fryette Pittbull from RiffEm. Definition 6.2, low/hicut at 100/9400 hrz, small cut at 200 hrz.

At this point I think that the stock Kemper profiles should get some love!
ESPECIALLY the handful of Vox AC 30 profiles from the Nashville profiling session.
The 'AC 30 linked' is REALLY great, so raunchy and rough!
@Ingolf, where the hell can I find these AC30 profiles? I've been looking around for these. Cheers -
