I'm not sure where that is, but tomorrow I will look into that. Is that parameter adjusted for every individual profile then or a global setting?

I do use the doubletracker in a small part of one song. Otherwise it's not on or even in the other performances. yes I checked the cables by swapping them at the profiler, the problem moved at the board to the other channel. Also a different sound company had the same issue. In both cases they provide the cables from the Kemper to the console. Appreciate your input.

I have a rack mount profiler that is around 8 years old. this one has a noticeable difference in output between the left and right sends from the main outs. I have it set to -20db and unlinked from my master volume. I'm not sure if it is also doing this on the monitor outputs. Running current OS and rig manager. the problem was there with the earlier OS also. Two different soundguys have commented on it and one said it was pretty obvious. they compensated with the mixer, but its a bit concerning to me. Anyone else have this issue and get it resolved? I did a search and didn't come up with anything. Thanks

So I checked to make sure, both sense are set to zero and locked. I went ahead and loaded the latest OS and the most current rig manager. Very gently cleaned the gain pot with a small amount of DeOxide5 from the front of the pot after taking off the knob. Also changed out the battery while I was at it. (I know that had nothing to do with it) So far the problem hasn't reoccurred. Of course it isn't 90 degrees f with 80% humidity in my house so a couple of live gigs outside may tell a different story. I've got a support ticket with Kemper and they have been helping. However they didn't direct me to use the contact cleaner, that was my own doing. Thanks for your suggestions.

So I’ve been using the Kemper now for 8+ years and have a new issue. When recalling presets and performances my gain settings, seem to be a little hotter than what had originally been stored. I’ve even lowered them back to where they should be and in the course of, switching between presets when I go back, they will be higher again. Not sure if this is an issue with the actual gain potentiometer being dirty or a software anomaly. Just curious if anyone else has had this happened to them and what it took to get it resolved. Thanks .

Hi, I built a patch panel for my Kemper Rack that has the Main outs, monitor out and Direct out on it. When I mounted the RJ45 ethercon cable jack to the same panel there is a digital noise that is coming out of the monitors. I tried the ground lift (really didn't expect it to work but why not try?). If I isolate the jack off of the patch panel it is dead quiet, but once I ground the ethercon panel connector with the remote cable attached it comes back.

Anyone else have this problem and found a cure? I could mount another patch panel on the back of the rack probably and put the connector there( the other one is on the front). But was looking for other possible options or ideas from the group as I'd like it in the front. Many thanks!

Interesting, I was just coming here to see if anyone is having problems with their switches. One of mine feels like it is about to go bad and would like to get it replaced. I would like to just get a couple switches shipped to me and have it done locally. Two are clunky and noisy.

I run the panning at 9 oclock and 3 oclock.

Thanks for your reply. I haven't been using it in the mains, but one of those thing that seems to not be clear on its use.

Just wondering how you guys set your space function in the output section. Do you have the Space>HeadphOnly box checked or not? I assume that if the box is not checked the space function also affects the main outs. If it is checked it only works with headphones. What is the consensus on how much of this effect do you use? Thanks!

Same problem here. Done it twice and still have that prompt every time I open rig manager.

I also leave the switches in the middle position. I think that the tone is better with the DSP off.

The Victory Silverback profile is sweet! A lot of clarity for that amount of gain.
