Ah yes! @timowens and his HAWP are some of the best free profiles. Really great.
Gun to your head - what's your favourite profile

London City Profile for Clean
Diezel Hagen by Tonehammer for rhythm -
I have tried a bunch of profiles, and I always end up playing my own or Lasse Lammert profiles.
-
GRS Fender super reverb is one of my favourites for clean twangy fat tone! Shadows clean. but i have to use my TC-G-Force to get that natural dely and reverb! For me its impossible to have one rig! i need at least 3. my fvourite is my ovn profiled amp, Koch Multitone. the 2. chanel have a very smooth distortion and perfect breakup. very dynamicly. The most dynamic rig tough is the AC20.
I am not a highgain guitarist, but use it now and then, and i like the Mesa dual rectifier! i am stuck in that 80´s sound! -
The Lasse Lamert prrofiles were my first go to ones and always bring a smile to my face! The Fluff ones are.amazing too, particularly the Fluff Jim Root. But for me the gun to head profile would probably end up being the 5153 50w Bad Monkey by Wingee, I just really get on well with it through a cab, and also with the Hi Sue cab by Deadlight Studios through the PA.

Hey SamBro'.Mate, I've been following that thread since before I even got my KPA, and I still haven't had the cajones to tackle the profiles 'cause there are just so many!
Any tips you could share besides the ol' chestnut, "Dude, you just have to try them all", would be very, very much appreciated, O Meister of the Written, Rhythmic Word™.
In English : H-e-l-p m-m-a-a-t-t-e-e ... please... if you can... and it's not too much trouble... thank you SamBro'...

Haha! Dude, just start with the latest and work backwards
My favourite is from phase 9 of the HBE, the first Merged profile he made. Sounds great with Monitor Cabs Off through my Marshall 2x12 -
Ask me today and you'll get one answer. Ask me tomorrow and it will be something different. That's why I bought a KPA!

Haha sorry man, but everyone's taste is different anyway, so you may as well just dive in at one end or the other
That said, the Merged profile and the two lower gain Direct Amp profiles he made for me are ace (the lower gain ones are from phase 26). -

guys,
remember that this thread is in the Free rigs and profiles section.if a user with no affiliations points out a really great commercial rig, it's not what this subforum is for, but in context I guess it's not an issue - as long as it stays an exception.
it is however not acceptable for vendors of commercial profiles to use this thread as advertisement space.
no exceptions.thanks for understanding.

When I first dem'd the Kemper (I was one of the first) - there was no way the amount of rigs/profiles there is today!. - but I do remember R.U Sirus's Vox Profiles. - that blew me away. - they are still in the exchange now, in fact I still play it every now and then (when the right time comes), don't get to see him much around here now. but I still have a lot of respect for him, and its always my first memory of the unit being absolute great! in fact I think he has expanded on what he did since then, I just not had the time to dig in recently. - but I do mean to visit his rigs and take them for a test drive!

PITTBULL II
is the rig I use most for rock stuff.
It has this tight bottom that is very nice. -

Now you're talking', SamBro'!Thanks man.

free profile ? rm pacheco Morgan AC20 if I was only allowed one profile to play for the rest of my days ...this would be it
-
At this point I think that the stock Kemper profiles should get some love!
ESPECIALLY the handful of Vox AC 30 profiles from the Nashville profiling session.
The 'AC 30 linked' is REALLY great, so raunchy and rough! -
