"99% Like the miced Amp" means nothing.
I have to disagree here. Capturing a miced amp's sound as exactly as possible is what profiling is all about. When I'm 99% close after refining I consider the profiling sucessful.
Wheather you like or dislike how I set and miced my amp, you decide! -
Right. And that's why "sounds 99% like miced amp" is not a good answer to "sounds thin".
-
Really?
Why not read all the posts and deduce the context...
Thanks for these profiles - I like! the sound
-
Excellent!
These sound pretty good - I'll def use them! -
Thanks a lot, my new favorite fender profiles!
-
It is the same as:
"This soup is way too salty!
"Why does it not work for you? It tastes 99% like when my grandmother made it!"What does this say about your grandmothers recipe?
-
Right. And that's why "sounds 99% like miced amp" is not a good answer to "sounds thin".
This was no answer to anything, I just explained that the profiles turned out like the miced amp sounded.
You have to decide if you like it or not. Please stop putting my efforts down by misquoting me!

I've been a fan of your profile captures for some time. Your Fender profiles are truly striking!
I couldn't agree more that some could temper their comments a tad and appreciate the quality contributions being offered. If they don't suit someone's taste, that's fine, there are plenty to select from elsewhere, but no reason to "knock" anyone's work.
Thank you for sharing. -
right.
r.u.sirius is one of the most generous people making high quality profiles I know.
If profiles don't work for you, that's absolutely no reason to behave in an uncivilized manner.r.u.sirius' contributions are a great asset to the whole Profiler community.
manners, people, manners.
this isn't some webpage about gear ifyouknowwhatimean... -
Thanks your your great profiles and if you can do other jmp profiles the same way you did the fender or maybe pushed with a clean boost. It'd be great. Thanks again for the fender!
-
Looking forward to trying these out!
Anyone who makes profiles and gives them away for free deserves to be thanked for their generosity.
So thanks, and ignore the nit-pickers!
-
@r.u.sirius nice work on the Fender profiles and thanks very much!!
-
Will these be available in the rig exchange ? I can't seem to get them downloaded
-
Why don't just following the links in the op?
-
Hi sirius, top job.
-
They won't be available on Rig EX, some morons constantly rated his rigs with 1 star, what a pity...
I cannot understand people doing this, and acting so stupidly. My approach is to get a positive critic when some aspects of the rigs don't suit my tastes, and give a very high vote when I really like a rig.
Profiling takes lots of time and blast your ears & gear , theses efforts have to be taken into consideration

really, is this an issue?
Profiling takes lots of time and blast your ears & gear
if set up properly, profiling can actually be quite relaxing for your ears - just turn down your monitoring.
I do this all the time, I either dim or mute the profiling noise on my monitors. As for blasting gear, profiling has no negative effect on amps.
On the contrary, it seems to be a good and effective way to get new speakers 'broken in' quickly. -
Regarding the 1 star issue: Yes, it seems to be an issue! See the post of r_u_sirius on page 2 of this thread: http://www.kemper-amps.com/forum/index.ph…914&#post216914

Hey, i checked them all out. The Fender cleans are my favorits, i use them with another cab . Its called Fender Super Reverb (LPS) from GRStdios. This cab is a little more crispy (Fenderlike).
The HF+OD+DIST is also a powerfull rig. I use it with 1960 SM 57 cab, a little comp in front, flanger in Stomp MOD, a little delay and Hall, ready is a perfect sounding EVH sound. Much fun -
