how would the tablet connect to the Kemper?
I know that my iPad doesn't have a usb port.
There's a camera connection kit for the iPad that connects to a regular USB port. Hopefully that would work.

Never owned an iPad, but I guess the thunderbolt port can be connected to usb via an adapter. If it's the usb-c-type, it can be connected to USB A anyway (again, via adapter). My Android tab has micro-USB, which I convert to the A-type with a little adapter as well. Works perfectly.
I see.
if there's a will there's a way. USB to BLuetooth adapter plugs into the KPA, now IPAD can talk to Kemper via bluetooth.

Yep! Been doing that for awhile now
I'd love to place my tablet to a mic stand and switch the KPA via the tablet
New to the KPA and I am loving the tones!
I'm confused as to why there is no editor.
I'm surprised that the Rig Manager is new to the KPA,
Using a flash drive to load rigs from your computer to the KPA?!? This is the 21st Century.
So I hope the editor is coming soon.
Welcome, LRStrat!
Rig Manager is not new; it's been around for a while.

Over 3 years now (released early 2014)
Welcome LRStrat, have faith it will come!! someday.
IMHO, this editor software is not the most urgent, even if i valid this feature request.
I'm more waiting for :
- new reverbs,
- global PEQ in output,
- Improvement of the storage of profiles and effects.
IMHO it's much more useful.

Which would be assisted with an editor.

Hadn't thought of the global PEQ. You are right. That would be a major asset to the KPA.
Also, the ability to profile external EFX by category (delay, reverb, pitch) would also be great
This global eq is useless for me.
The interest of a PEQ is for mixing with other instruments.
You can lower one frequency from 2Khz to 4 Khz to let work the singer voice.
You can lower one frequency around 125Hz or 1000 Hz to let work the bass (according to its setting).
And can easily change this frequence according to equipment available in rehearsal or on stage.
And the precision of a PEQ allows to not distortion sound and act on a precise frequency.
Yes it's what i do, but if i want to experiment my mixing i must remove all my rigs.
if you're recording into a DAW you can put a PEQ on the channel...
if you're recording to tape you can put a PEQ in an aux send of the mixer or directly on the output of the KPA prior to desk/tape.
having a global PEQ would be nice.
Having a software editor that would allow you to assign the same effects to all your amps or copy your effects and EQ settings from one profile to another or to delve deeper into your programs would is somewhat more of a desire for most... especially in a thread requesting a software editor.
You can copy and paste these settings from Rig to Rig on the unit itself, Steven, but obviously it's comparatively-fiddly compared to how we'll go about it with an editor. I mean, the editor... after it arrives.
If... it arrives.
