Does anyone know offhand the length of the Ethernet cable (in m) the KPA Remote ships with? Cheers
Show us how your Remote will be used :)

Yeah more like that. -
The product page says 7 meters, which is just over 21 feet, so you guys are right.

I bought what is supposed to be a high quality 15'-20' CAT 5 cable and it didn't work (The display was garbled on the Remote).
Would a CAT 6 cable be better? I believe they are supposed to be faster. I'd rather not keep buying cables to find out.

You wouldn't notice a difference that is perceivable but any Cat 5 cable should work. I haven't even used the factory one yet. Plugged in a 6' and 10' with no problems at all. You might have been lucky enough to get a bad cable -
Does anyone know if it's possible/how to assign a BOSS foot switch (the momentary, unlatching FS-5U...) to FX on the Kemper? Ie. So that say, as long as you hold the switch down it engages a phaser for example....
I seem to recall people complaining that it can't yet be done via the Kemper Remote and is awaiting this as an update.....

Exactly, the Remote is supposed to do this later. ATM you need to connect the Boss switch directly to the Kemper and assign its function from the system menu. -

I think for the FS5-U you need TRS (on they Kemper side) to 2x TS for 2 FS 5’s.
The FS6 Dual footswitch has the option to use stereo jacks for both pedals or mono jacks for either pedal. -
A work in progress... suggestions welcome!

It could be you need to re-solder one of the TRS jacks then. -

Is there a way of calibrating expression/volume pedals when used in conjunction with the remote...?
I have my Mission exp pedal in socket 4 and my Ernie Ball Volume Pedal JR (active pickup version...) in socket 3...
The Mission pedal is working great for expression purposes... However, the EB VP seems to act quite oddly... The volume of a rig is never zero (heel down) and there is audio present at this position, more problematic however, is the 'glide' from 'zero' to max volume - it isn't very even / with an exponential-type curve like I would expect!!
EDIT: my remote however, does state: "Pedal volume is 0 (MUTE)" and enters tuning mode when the heel is down like you would expect...

The FS5 has only a TS jack AFAIK.

To avoid lugging arround another case with the remote and pedals, I have crafted a custom made rackslide.
Just an old drawer from a serverrack and a machine made shelf and lasercut front (thnx René).
The remote and 2 expressions pedels wil fit. -
^ Now that is sweet!! Good job @Pentafox

Sweet indeed!
