Therefore, a fully parametric eq or GEQ with sufficient bands would be a great tool for the Monitor Output.
I started a request for a Monitor Output PEQ YEARS AGO. I don't understand why this is so difficult to implement?

I've had a Rack for 13 years and it's amazing. I'm still selling my amps. The ONLY reason I would buy the new model is
because the Rack dies and/or is irrepairable. I'm not missing anything by keeping the old model.
I heard that theory before and if true I agree, but I was talking about market expectations... most of the people who buys guitar gear will never be onstage. I'm not complaining about anything and I couldn't care less about the screen but I think Kemper would sell more units if they had a touch screen.
Btw I'm a big fan of having real buttons and I hate everything being on screens today, specially inside my car.
So, if most of the people won't be onstage, there are several platforms for touchscreen editing. Tablets and phones are both capable and without the bending over for the Stage (With the proper additions, Rack and Toaster are adaptable to Wi-Fi as well.)
There are also many parameters which can be modified with the Morphing feature in a live or bedroom setting.
Can you post a screenshot please?
G,
Ok, I'm losing my mind...I would have put money on the button assign, but I must have mistaken another Assign function.
This is the closest I could find. After selecting the Rig button, one sees the green Assign button at the bottom left of the picture. It was probably this. So, I know now just to assign the Looper button function on the unit itself.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. Please delete thread if needed. Thanks for your help, everybody. ![]()
Right. That’s what I ended up doing. Sounds like maybe they planned to complete that functionality in RM, but stopped short. Not sure why it’s still in RM.
I believe it is on the Output section of Rig Manager, but there is a place in the lower left in which there is a drop down (hamburger / 3 horizontal lines) in which one can change the function of the Looper button supposedly (REV On/Off, etc). I tried to do this (making sure I cleared all assignments first at the top of the list), but it won't change the Looper function. I'm surprised there is no documentation in the manual about this.
I found I had to actually do this on the Kemper Rack itself. That's fine, but I thought this would be possible on Rig Manager as it exists in the software.
Tone Junkie has an interesting perspective on not having a fancy 4K screen to edit "live". At 10:42 in.
If you actually gigged you'd know that bending down to turn a knob is significantly faster then digging into my app on a phone in the middle of a set. Regardless, to each his own.
Not if it's in front of you on a mic stand. Many bands run sound and/or personal monitor mixes from the stage using iPads....especially if you're using one of the popular, self contained EV or Bose systems. And yes, I have gigged for 40 years.
If I were gigging a Stage, the last thing I would want to do is squat down to edit. I'd be all about the phone editor.
This is great for all new users and I welcome any new technology updates!
For myself, I'll be staying with my original Profiler Rack. It sounds identical to the source amp and has every effect I would want to use.
Having said that, if it ever fails and becomes irreparable, I'll jump on this. Kemper is still King at profiling. I never ever thought I would get rid
of tube amps, but I just sold a pre-Gibson, Mesa Boogie Mark V head. It's a fantastic amp, but it just pales in comparison to the Profiler.
Hi Michael, I was browsing your site recently and noticed that you no longer seem to have the Gramatico pack available. Surely that is some mistake
Although your 69 Marshall is my go to rig that Gramatico is EPIC. I use amp drive 99.999999% of the time rather than pedals but this week I was practicing some stuff with a lot of quick changes between clean and dirty tones. Rather than set up a performance for practicing I just loaded on of the Gramatico cleaner rigs and stuck a Kemper Drive in front which I could toggle on/off as necessary. Damn! What a killer tone. I haven't been able to stop playing with it for nearly a week. That pack should be flying off the shelves on your store.
Maybe the webmaster made a change and/or forgot it?
I found it by Googling:
.....oh, and while the Profiler sounds great through an FR powered cab, I have found using the Kone along with imprints takes it to another level.
None of the others have anything like the Kone.
Welcome, and congratulations! ![]()

LIke Leo Fender, Kemper got it right the first time. It sounds like a tube amp from day 1. The others are playing a game of catch up.
And when Kemper introduces new effects, they are without peer. I'm a proud Rack owner of 12 years and my search ended when I bought it.
The Kone is a legitimate game changer. I was never fond of its FR mode either; imprints are where it's at.
I have it inside of a 1x12 Power Engine cabinet. I'm not using the power amp of it at all as the Tech 21 people
told me it can't handle a 4 ohm load. I use a DV Micro 50 Ciro Manna signature head for the power amp and love it.
(That also sounds great on its own through a guitar speaker with its built in Tube Screamer circuit.)
I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Who can create a sound patch with only 4 fx slots?
*raises hand*
Me too. Four slots is usually overkill for me. I may use two at most.
Anybody wanting more needs to get the Stage. This is not for those people.
This is for pedal board guys with a collection of pedals. Kemper's delay and reverb effects are stellar so no need for those pedals.
Just read the manual. Only 2 effects before amp stack. Delay and reverb after the stack. Probably good enough for most. You can always add real stomps before the Player. Lack of effects loop, but I find the effects in the Kemper to be great. Those not so great can go in front.
Look like jacks for stereo out and a loop. [Edit: No loop, headphone and pedal jack] Possibly both USB style jacks; one for update and the other for computer connection. Next to that, [Edit: XLR] (Just guessing here). I'm sure it is well thought out and will rock.
We won't know when this was on the drawing board, but I suppose Tonex kickstarted design/production into overdrive.
I already have the rack and Remote, but this would be a great gig bag solution...especially for travel.
