It looks very much like they'll be in the next FW update, Heller-boy (!).
Just a matter of time now... very little time.
Alrighty, I hope so. that would be really amazing!!!

Getting really anxious here
Thanks for pushing for this Jeff.
I've been an Axe Fx II user for a couple years, just got my KPA today, and this feature was one of the first things I was looking for!
Seems simple enough. Maybe the resistance is just a matter of real estate and not wanting to occupy any more land if not 100% necessary. Well.. This is a feature a lot of people coming on board from other modlers actually use.. Especially in high gain, so it's kind of a no brainer, especially with the slot limitations.
Right out of the box, the Kemper sounds more realistic (I am a high gain enthusiast but I couldn't even get of the first two (clean) presets for over an gour today!). But yeah… they're are a few flexibility issues that I'm not used to... Work around schmerckarounds. Some things just need tk be standard!
Thanks CK for saying yes to their implementation!
Hi
It would be nice if possible if its put in the stack to save using up effects slots..:-) I know much wants more but sometimes im stuck for slots:-)
Thanks
Ferg
The parameter could simply be added to the various amp, cab, stomp and mod editing menus. No need for slot wastage, IMHO.
This is what I was suggesting earlier.
CN7, I'm not sure it was resistance; CK simply needed to be convinced, and once he saw the "wisdom" of including the HPF/LPFs, he promised them right away. There hasn't been an OS update since then, so I'd expect that they'll be in the next one.

This!
CK has already stated that he will add this to the studio eq - this makes most sense to me.
That's absolutely not the case, though - the low shelf set to -12db doesn't remove as much low end as a true HPF would. There is no way to roll off enough of the sublows at -12db without eating into the useful low end of the guitar signal (I don't want to be filtering up to 200hz just to get all of the crap at 80hz out of the mix).
In any case, the real problem is with the top end! I want to filter off after 12khz because it's usually just gross, ratty top end, and I can push more highs into a tone if I'm removing that nasty fizz with a filter. But -12db on the high shelf still doesn't do this; the point at which the fizziness is removed makes the tone too dark to use because the rolloff point has to be set far lower than 12khz to get rid of the stuff above it.
It seems like you either don't believe that I'm having an issue or assume that I'm doing something wrong - is this accurate? I don't know how to make my request any more clear; given the current EQ and Wah controls, I cannot get HPF/LPF effects to my liking. As such, I am requesting that we're given actual filters to control and feel like I'm being ignored or brushed under the table as someone complaining about a non-issue.
Jeff, this may sound silly but you say that you don't want to do the work in a plug in right? Have you attempted to use a rack based EQ? To surgically cut the unwanted frequencies?
Correct; I want this to be what I hear through the monitors, live, headphones, etc.
Why would I be okay with having to buy another piece of gear for this one specific purpose?
Ok, I understand what you mean. From my perspective, as an audio snob, I'm seldom pleased with sound the way others intended it to be anyway. An example is my home stereo, I have a stereo 31 band graphic EQ in line with the output mostly to adjust for room ambient frequencies but also it has programable cut and boost so if I find a piece of music too abusive I can press a button and reduce high end by a pre specified curve. Or a manual adjustment. I don't think I would do too well without the ability to sculpt my sound.
But from what I'm hearing you feel as though this is a feature set that the Kemper isn't quite living up to and in your camp it should. That's why studios have lots of eq's and racks of knobs and dials, to make up for what an instrument lacks. Good hunting I hope you sort it out.
As said before, this should be easy to add and I would highly appreciate it as it would be a great improvement to my workflow. Fully with JeffTD on this one.
its included in the newest firmware in all EQs

It's there in the beta and awesome! Thanks Kemper!
Yup, in the beta as low cut/high cut with exact frequencies listed. Thank you @ckemper!! Now we just need delay pre-amp .

Arrgh awesome!!! Thx Mister kemper, Im looking forward to the final release!
Yeah welcome addition!
Ok now that it s available personally im super satisfied and although id love some dev in the effect departement (i do love the kemper effects btw) i can live with just that.
another nice added bonus improvement
