So what are you doing differently than others (in refining, perhaps) to get better results?
My method for refining has a lot to do with picking and how I attack the strings.
I try to be careful to not clip the input.

Just did another test using a Mark VII as someone said it was one of the more difficult amps to profile.

i can tell. And, thee comparisons are a tad off because even the real amp is runnung throught the kemper. So its closer together. 2nd amp is real
So you think the guitar should be plugged directly into the amp for the comparison?

When I listen to different changes I feel sometimes I can hear less of a difference.
Of course the playing changes can effect this.

Using the buttons in profile mode to switch between the real amp and the Kemper profile on a MK1 Kemper.
High gain.
Is the real amp or profile first? Other thoughts?

Yes, they will still work. And no, they will not sound better, they will sound the same.
I would say it is possible for them to sound better with the new cabinet modeling implementation. Of course this would be personal preference.

MV is the speaker and cabinet as is Lyn. Details are in the tags. I use them in the name to give a quick reference. It may take a little effort to get to know them.
Lyn is Lynchback speaker. I believe it is in a Mesa 4x12. Haven't used that one in a while.
MV is a Mesa 2x12 with V30.

Looks like it has been 5 years since I have had this amp out!
Recently someone posted that the clean channel of this amp is actually based on a Marshall Plexi and not really a clean clean.
Since it had been so long I had to take a look at it.
Turns out, channel one is an amazing amp all on its own.
So...this amp has two of the legendary Marshall based tones in one amp. Ch 1 is a like a Plexi and Ch 2 is like a JCM800.
For a short time you can catch the pack at a discount also.
