Hi folks! Long time lurker and Kemper Profiling amp fan here. My name is Steve Henning and I am the owner of Henning Amplification, producer of the Cherry Bomb amp. You can find out more about us at:
if you'd like...
As a huge fan of the Kemper and in the interest of sharing, here is a profile of the Cherry Bomb I made quite awhile ago in the ROD channel with the max SATURATION setting and my normal favorite EQ adjustments. I used an SM57 close mic'd on a Henning Amps 4x12 cab with G12H30 speakers.
Here is a clip of the profile:

and here is the original clip with the actual Cherry Bomb amp mic'd through a Great Rivers mic pre into my system:

They are definitely different, but I think I could come closer if I had actually spent a few seconds refining the profile and if I profiled the mic through the Great Rivers mic pre. I used no EQ on the Kemper output and I used the delay directly from the Kemper. I basically added nothing to the Kemper guitar recordings... Interesting huh?
Since I recorded this, I messed with the profile adding in a little gain that seems to make it match the real amp a little better - more sustain. Eventually, I'll do a whole set of Cherry Bomb profiles from the two channels with various settings for different tones, with and without effects and boosts. Just haven't had time...
In the meantime, I've been convinced by some fellow players who also own the Kemper to provide the profile to anyone who would like to use it FREE of charge. I don't think it is necessarily the most accurate representation of the Cherry Bomb in the room, but I though folks might enjoy trying it out. Here is the link to download the profile:

Let me know if you dig the profile in this this thread once you try it!
