I have looked at some road cases for about $139 - $169. About the same price as the Kemper bag. What are you all using?
How are you transporting your "lunch boxes"?

Green Kemper bag. "Light" and big enough to put some cables in too.

When I used my toaster live i used the green Kemper first aid kit bag. Very well made and protects the KPA well. I have a friend who had the Thon hard case from thomanns which looked quite good to

Been there, too. I decided to buy Namba bag (Kemper) and I am really happy that I chose it over hardcase. Because of the 2-3 times gig a week "Mobility" is the key for me.

I'm using a rolling scrapbooking case (like the below, but all black)
This one is $39.99 at USA Joann stores:

Sensible!

Zappledan - they have foam for the inside of cases there, too

Green Namba bag. I railed against the price at first, but the longer I live with it the more I appreciate the little details (stiff panels, bottom zippered lid) that make it so protective and easy to use. The one thing I'd change would be to make the end pockets zippered rather than velcro, but I do fine with it as-is.

I have a camera bag that works well. You just need to be creative and look around for something that will take the lunchbox perfectly. There are lots of options out there!

I did not know how I would ship it or do with my Kemper to use for live performance. I built a proprietary system. Now I have a transport case with wheels and a rig that is complete for live performances.

Could you go into detail? Your userpicture looks interestingI'm using a Thon hardcase for my Kemper too. And after a few gigs and some rehearsals and carrying it from A to B, I think I should have bought the Namba-Bag. If I was a touring musician I would change to the rack version.
My Kemper is super safe in the hardcase but when I come home from rehearsals a guitar over my shoulder the Kemper case in one hand, my 1x12 in the other... the doors, walls, chairs, tables are not so happy to meet the hardcase -
I have built a 2x12 where I angled elements, partly to get a smaller rig and get a better stereo light on the scene. elements are from a special series from Line6 that allows real digital + analog use. I have purchased a PA amplifier without fans that are silent. This I carries in a transport case which is for multi-cord reel. In this case, I place my midi pedalboard and volume pedal. I have the best Swedish dance band sound throughout Sweden.

Haha, nice! Please share some pictures in the "post pictures of your kemper rig" thread

I am using this semi soft/hard case.
Hard bottom, waterproof. Lightweight. Fits perfectly with some of the original "protection mounting" from the original shoppingbox to prevent movement in the case.

If money isn't an issue, then I would always recommend Porta Brace bags. These guys do bags for broadcast/film industry. There's no bag manufacturer with a better reputation for storing and carrying sensible gear. They are not cheap but in this case you really get what you pay for! Search the web for cheapest price!
Basically there's 2 choices you have:
1. Porta Brace CS-DV3
This bag is a perfect fit for the Profiler ... and I mean perfect in terms of "like a glove". You can put a few cables in the outside pockets. But the Profiler inside, well, it's kind of crazy. It fits as perfect as if this bag would have been made for the Kemper. even the fact that the Profiler is more deep on the bottom and a little less on the top. The bag reflects this 100%.2. Porta Brace CS-DV4
Slightly bigger bag than the DV3 above. Enough space for some more accessories inside the bag. Although I have 2 of both bags, I usually prefer to take this one for the Profiler. -
I purchased a camera bag that fits the KPA perfectly. Unfortunately, the manufacturer no longer makes that particular bag (otherwise I'd post a link)...

I cracked up when I saw this... I just bought my wife a bag like this for Christmas. She can keep it though... I'd lose all street cred if I showed up with the floral print!
