Here's a less bulky alternative, available for both the Toaster and the Remote:
US$30: Studio Slips Dust Cover 5427 (for Toaster)
US$20: Studio Slips Dust Cover 9801 (for Remote)
I have one of each and they work great.

Nice job (forgot the tuner footswitch though)! And I agree that it doesn't really need an expression pedal.
I'd buy one!
I just sent my toaster in for the same reason - the Kemper service guys contacted me very quickly, and I hope I get it back very quickly too!
#1 is, I think, a bug that has been around for quite a while. I experienced it with previous 2.x downloads (a system reset cured it).
I don't need a looper, so I have no plans to purchase the Remote and will instead continue to use my FCB1010/UnO4Kemper.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
I purchased a camera bag that fits the KPA perfectly. Unfortunately, the manufacturer no longer makes that particular bag (otherwise I'd post a link)...
I've used a Tripp Lite LC1200 Line Conditioner/Surge Protector for years.
... I wish they would reply to my emails...
It's not unusual for companies to have a holiday shut-down between Christmas and New Year.
Ha, this thread has reminded me that I really should start selling off my old amps and cabs (except for my HD500/DT25 and Mesa Boogie Thiele cab that I'll keep as my backup rig). None of them get any use these days; they're all literally gathering dust now.
I don't carry a back-up amp or modeler, although I do have my old HD500 (which, BTW, sounds pretty good through a CLR) and DT25 "just in case". I should probably set up and use the HD500 as a MIDI foot controller for the KPA so that I have a back up in case the KPA dies at a gig.
Sure, I get that. But if I'm copying the rig into a Performance Mode slot I would expect that the current settings for the CS/DS and the noise gate would be copied that slot too (and then, of course, I can change them to whatever I want in PM independently of BM). Not sure why that wouldn't be the correct way for the KPA to copy the rig settings...
I'm pretty sure that someone else has a thread here about this problem too (it goes back prior to v2.7). I've had it happen to me too...
Good job!..sounds great, but its PeteThorn.. he can play through a tin can and sound great still..
Very true!!!
I don't know about most guys, but I love seeing all of that "real" (not "relic'd") play wear! There's a reason for all of that wear (it's just a great guitar)! Although my grandmother's name was Beulah, so I guess I would be partial to this guitar anyway...
Also, if you happen to have a spare $79,000 laying around (:D), there is an absolutely beautiful 1955 all original Strat on TGP right now.
Use Performance mode on the KPA, select a bank and slot using the FCB, and then browse your KPA rigs until you find the one you want. Press the Store button and after you go through the Store dialog you're done.
... What just annoys me is that when the conversations goes to profilers, people tendo be incredible old fashioned...
Ah, but that's the heart of the matter! In spite of their creativity, musicians are really very conservative with respect to their instruments and to adoption of new technology that affects or generates their tone. I think it's pretty ironic!
"Justify" my rig to someone else? Are you joking?
How about "Because it's my rig and that's what I want."? Nothing more needs to be said, and anyone who pushes for more than that is an a-hole. IMO.
Now, if they simply want to know why I chose the KPA I'd be more than happy to explain that...
...
it was about using this stuff live.Had a Line6 POD HD 500 sold ...
Actually, an HD500 into a CLR sounds very nice...
